Just that really. I was a huge fan of no7 intelligent colour and used it for years, but my new batch really affected my skin.

Why do they oxidise? I can see me spending my whole morning in boots!

I have a wide range of foundations from Chanel and bobby brown to the collection one - they're all good but the one I seem to wear everyday is Maybelline 'better skin' with the blue lid. It's awesome! Just makes me look better :). My skin is normal/oily.

Remember the old MN (possible) myth, that Chanel and Bourjois are the same company/product in different packaging!

I am a 51 in Bourjois Health Mix and dang you all, I am now about to buy a pot of everything else they do to try it out!

I really do rate Bourjois and Maybelline foundations.

PS I don't like the Health Mix serum foundation at all though- I bought that first by mistake and the slightly slimy consistency put me right off, even though it would probably be better for my dry skin! I humphed and thought "what are MN on about, raving about this when it's slimy. Then I bought the normal and realised how good it was!

Another one for Bourjois Healthy Mix - it is a serum foundation that makes your skin glow - best I've ever used.

I've gone and bought the healthy mix foundation because of all your recommendations! It really is as good as you say! Thanks all!xx

Yes, usually it's either you like the Bourjois foundation or the serum. I like the serum more. But I have friends who like the foundation. :) Both are fab! City Radiance too!

thenlater I think it's true that some of the higher end companies are part of the same multi nationals as the lower end cosmetics, so what ends up happening is the lower end formulations really benefit from the expensive research into all the buzz ingredients etc, which filter down. i think Grin

L'oreal True Match reminds me of Giorgio Amani foundations.

The best budget foundation and always return to is miss beauty in Pound World. It lasts for hours and covers brilliantly.
