so what do we think of the Clarks silver sporty brogues?

I have to wear flats (injury). Normally Doc Marten shoes or boots in black or Birkenstock. I work in an office but dress fairly casually. Jeans, shirts, skirts, wrap tops etc

I'd love some shoes with colour that are still comfy and think these are really nice - to wear with jeans, skirts or even a dress.

Am I mad?

Love those shoes, go for it!

Vajazzler · 15/03/2016 10:39

They look like they haven't been sewn together properly

Stylingwax · 15/03/2016 10:43

Love them!

Palomb · 15/03/2016 10:45

Jesus Christ they are ugly. Those soles!!

CocktailQueen · 15/03/2016 10:45

Totally hideous. Sorry! Hate the chunky white sole, and they look like they haven't been sewn together properly.

LovelyFriend · 15/03/2016 10:50

yeah I'm a bit of a fan of fugly shoes :)

I just want to steer clear of naff.

Levantine · 15/03/2016 11:44

I like them. Proper fugly Wink. Not naff imo

GeorgeTheThird · 15/03/2016 11:47

The pewter hamble oak are nicer

missmartha01 · 15/03/2016 11:48

they look like clowns shoes, sorry.

Potterwolfie · 15/03/2016 11:52

Love the tops, abhor the soles. ..why not just a decent pump type sole?

MissTessmacher · 15/03/2016 11:54

They're hideous.

Really hideous.

BettyBi0 · 15/03/2016 11:58

They are a bit weird if I'm honest. The silver is just a bit too "wacky-zany" for my liking in a "you don't have to be mad to work here but it helps haha" kind of way. The big white soles are ugly.

Get some normal leather brogues in a bright blue maybe?

Judydreamsofhorses · 15/03/2016 12:00

I prefer these other silver Clarks ones - I have my eye on them myself...!

gastropod · 15/03/2016 12:09

They look like pieces of two different shoes stuck together - the tops are ok, but the soles are awful.
Sorry!
Silver brogues per se could look great though - just not these ones!

twilightcafe · 15/03/2016 12:13

I love them - but this is the woman who wears sheepskin lined Birkenstocks. Grin

burnishedsilver · 15/03/2016 13:19

They are almost nice. The seam running around the shoe is weird looking.

PurpleDaisies · 15/03/2016 13:21

I don't like them at all-the front looks wrong.

LadyPriggsbottom · 15/03/2016 13:32

Not my cup of tea at all I'm afraid, and I quite often like the fugly shoes! The soles just look wrong on them to me... Kind of like someone at the manufacturers had a load of random white soles lying about, dug out some silver uppers and just whacked them together.

LovelyFriend · 15/03/2016 15:20

I'll have to pop into Clarks at lunchtime tomorrow for a proper look at the questionable soles.

Madbengalmum · 15/03/2016 15:21

Fugly shoes, sorry

absolutelynotfabulous · 15/03/2016 16:31

They're great. I'd wear them if I weren't so dumpy short.

Lottapianos · 15/03/2016 16:36

They're very Marmite OP - people will either loathe or love. I'm firmly in the "love' camp Smile

Chinesealan · 15/03/2016 16:39

They look Clarks.

squoosh · 15/03/2016 16:43

They're very....................Timmy Mallet.

BabyGanoush · 15/03/2016 16:45
