How many bras do you own?

Was tempted by the sales in Debenhams today. Dh has asked how many bras do you need in a way that suggests I may have bought too many . Anyway, how many do you have? How many is too many?

I am surprised by your answer. Why do you need so many?

I have 30 or 40 too, most in lingerie sets, some I wear occasionally, some never. I have two every day t-shirt bras and one push-up black one which get the most use.

Loads, but most need chucked. I have 4 that I wear regularly, wear them for a few days before washing, unless Ive been particularly sweaty

One light colour, one dark for wearing under clothes where I can't avoid wearing one. Never bother at home. But I'm fortunate in not being heavy, only 34C.

Jealous by those who have 40. My boobs change size all the time. Pre children I was a C cup (size 12). Post DC 1 I was a A-B cup (size 8). Post DC 2 I was a D cup (size 14). Now I'm a G cup (size 16 and on HRT). So definitely had 40 over the past 10 years but only about 5 at minute.

My boobs have been the same (small ) size since I was about 15. I am now 57.

Before I was bra interventioned I had loads that didn't fit though!

I'm an A cup and only wear bras (crop top stylee) for work. I have about 4.

I change mine every day or so (eg if I go running and maybe wear a sports bra for a good chunk of the day, I will wear the bra I wear for the rest of the day for another day... make sense?? If I wear it all day then usually have a clean one next day).

I said I only washed them once a week - I meant I get them all together and wash them, not that I put a clean one on only once a week!

Those of you that have non-fitting bras should get rid of them. I recycled about eight when I lost weight and went from 32G/GG to 30G, if I got bigger again I'd want new ones anyway. It's very purging.

I recently had a clear out and brought new ones all with matching undies two pairs of pants per bra. I have a tiny 28 back and not many shops stock my size. Ebay is brilliant for me though and I have managed to buy many Freya and Panache sets at a fraction of the rrp. So I now have 8 sets and two multiway ones so far. Sports bras need replacing now so ebay will be hit again soon.

I have 2.

14 in current use (clean on daily: gives me enough so I'm not always washing them, and not under pressure to get them dry quick etc) plus 7 sports bras and 2 strapless - and about 10 in reserve (stockpile in sales/when there are cheap options/eBay etc).

I buy them when they are reduced as I'm an H so have limited options, and ditch when they start to go saggy in the elastic/wires poke through/stitching starts to go.

I tidied mine today, so know exactly how many!

2 nude basic
1 white basic
2 coloured silk
2 patterned
One fancy black bedroom only one

Probably between 15-20.

At the moment I only have 2 same style panache, one white and one black. Would like more but I've been losing weight so I have to buy new ones every few months so expensive.

Oh I also have a sports bra so that's 3

Susannah I've also got loads of Panache - they're my favourite brand! Have you tried on eBay? I get most of mine from there, BNWT, for anything between £8 and £15 (delivered) which is a huge difference to buying them direct from Bravissimo as I was doing previously.

No I haven't tried eBay Heflin, will give it a try I usually get them from bravissimo. Thanks for the tip.

Between 30 & 40 in different styles for every occasion. There's a bit of variety in sizes due to weight fluctuations, but I have about a dozen I wear regularly.
