Cheaper alternative to Ash Titan biker boots?

I really, really love these (in the antique silver) but can't find anything like them for a more affordable price. I can't do £275 in a pair of boots. Under £150 max really. Can't find anything else I want as much as these! Thanks in advance!

Do yours come up true to size?

They quite often do really good sales. If you look at their website and others that retail for them you might get a good deal leading up to Christmas or just after. I always think if you love an item you're much better off waiting a bit longer than paying almost as much for a substitute that isn't quite right...

HolgerDanske · 21/11/2015 14:50

They're usually quite roomy. I'm not sure if it's on all styles but I know that on each of the styles I have got they've recommended going for the smaller size if you aren't sure.

IdentityRequest1 · 21/11/2015 16:38

I'm a 7 normally and find them roomy. I've owned/tried a few pairs and been true to size in all but one where I sized down.
Agree with Holger, you may be pleasantly surprised in the sale... (or they may sell out Grin )

MsBojangles · 21/11/2015 16:45

I have the Titans, should have gone down a size as they're huge.

ilovetosleep · 21/11/2015 17:50

Ooh interesting. So I could try one of the size 4s that seem to be loads cheaper on eBay. Had kind of decided on the tramps tho, and they're discontinued so feel the need to snap them up before the sales start... Am back off to eBay now...

I adore the Ash Tempt ones OP and tried the Office caracking ones as a make do. They came up really wide around the ankles so have gone back. I'm going to hold out for the sales and hope I can get them for less than £150.

ilovetosleep · 21/11/2015 20:48

Argh I have ordered Titan in size 4 for £130 from eBay!

I think thats a good price for them - I hope they're perfect for you!

PrimalLass · 21/11/2015 22:17

Those Frye boots are lovely.

ilovetosleep · 01/12/2015 12:08

So my bargain titans arrived today. A 37 (am usually 38) I really really love them and they are long enough, but they feel quite snug across the widths I'm sure a size up would help but I still haven't found any at a good price. So to those of you that have these or other ash biker boots, will they stretch at all? The leather seems very hard. Maybe I could ask a cobbler what they could do...

If they are leather they should stretch.
Put thick socks on with them to start with and get them stretching.
That's what I normally do.
Then when you put normal socks again it's all good!

ilovetosleep · 01/12/2015 19:39

They actually fit just about fine with thin socks on/thick tights. Just a teeny bit snug. But in the winter I love wearing nice thick socks under my boots. Maybe I'll wear them around the house for a while in thick socks and see if they feel like they might loosen up?
