Are Bootcut Jeans Really back?

Just that, really. I usually wear skinny jeans, though did have some quite nice M and S Autograph Girlfriend ones this summer.

Wondering about a change and see bootcuts are supposed to be 'back'. Like this:
www.nydj.eu/bootcut-in-blue-premium-denim-95476lt-larchmont-wash??

Can wear them (as I can skinnies) because, though large, I'm tall and long-legged. But, though I hope I'm not a slave to 'fashion,' not sure if I'd feel stylish in them after quite a few years of feeling frumpy if I put on my old ones.

DD wears skinny flares with a leather jacket and looks fab. Having said that, I am her mum, so possibly biased Grin

I'm with spiderlight - bootcuts are the only style that seem to suit me, so they never went away for me either ! (fashion just passes me by) I bought my last pair at BHS - not trendy but they fit and don't gape at the back of the waistband like other makes do

They've never been out of fashion for me.
My huge arse and thighs means I need the balance and skinnies look dire!
Try them - why not?

HopefulAnxiety · 13/10/2015 12:20

Liz what size are you? If you're within Evans' size range, try their Cut For A Pear jeans. Lifechanging - no gaping at all, loads of room in the bum and hips. You can bend over with no fear of knicker flashing.

I've always worn bootcut jeans. They suit me and I find them more comfy than skinnies.

CointreauVersial · 13/10/2015 13:22

I loved bootcuts back in the day, and they suit my figure, but I just cringe when I put them on nowadays. And I find footwear really tricky.

So much happier in skinnies or boyfriends.

I saw some in the new Me + Em catalogue.
