Gone right off the dress. Looking for another one today.

Would like a white tea dress. If I see one online is there any chance it could be delivered by 10 sept?

I have a fall back dress . My engagement dress, white stretch cotton with pink flowers.

Not really panicking...well just a little.

If you love your engagement dress, could you get a dressmaker to copy it for you in white? I know it's not much notice, but I'm sure it could be done.

Was going to order the Jolie moi white one but I needed the 18 and it was out of stock.

I've had to according to their size guide order a 20! I've never been a 20 in my life but it says that the waist size Is 34 and I'm 33 so allowing for holiday bloat, the heat etc I'm going to need that extra inch.

Anyone I've just revisited the site and it looks like I've got the last one. Whether the bust will be ginormous or not I don't know.

So I've now got a white dress, a white and floral one and an aqua pale /green net one.

Thank god there's no stress attached to this wedding or you would be scraping me off the ceiling . Thank god I've got 3G on my iPad as I've been away from home for two days and I've been able to continue the search .

I'm really grateful for your help and hubby2 b doesn't know it yet but he's going shopping on Monday to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Was in BHS yesterday and so few of them have bridal now and I was in a big city. Ridiculous isn't it?

I lot of 50s repro sites sizing is just mad, I ordered a lindybop dress recently and from their size guide it said I should order a size 20, I ordered a 16 and it was roomy. I also have a lady v London one in a 14 and it fits fine, they're size guide said 18 I think too.
I have a lovely coast wedding dress, tea length 50s style that I would gladly sell to you, but it does have three quarter sleeves in a spotty mesh fabric.

I think all of them are fantastic! I would usually order two sizes in the same dress from house of Fraser as sometimes they can be very generous, plus you can click and collect it, try it in then return the one you don't want. I'm stepping away from more websites as my credit card is smoking. Booked a holiday on Friday and another dress in a sale yesterday and seen a nice winter one in coast sale.

I think i need to relax and see what turns up in the post or in store and see what size is going to fit me.

In last chance saloon for my diet too. So I could end up fitting the bhs one and too little for the house of Fraser one.

It is lovely sea rabbit but in my defence I've got shoulders like a rugby player...ok not quite but I think I'd look a bit top heavy in it.

I keep looking at the third one. I wish I could post a pic . See what you all think. It's champagne lace. Buttons down the back. Has Lace straps comes into the waist and a gentle flare. No padded bust.

It's very very nice.
