Quick question. I've just bought the biore sunscreen. I am right in thinking it goes on after serum and moisturiser? rubbish skin that breaks out, this is my first foray into korean skincare

lucysmam · 08/08/2015 19:23

Yes, after serum and moisturiser Smile

jackiekatu · 08/08/2015 19:42

So I started vit c serum and have used it twice so far at night leaving a 2 day gap ,can somebody tell me if I can use it everynight? Would it be too strong ? TIA

mowglik · 08/08/2015 21:13

Jackie you can use it every day I think most people do but I would build up to it if your skin is showing any irritation from it.

lucysmam I really want to try the holika bbs but am almost certain they will be too pale on me- is the one you have alight shade?

lucysmam · 08/08/2015 21:15

mowglik, the one I have is really pale. If you'd like me to post it for you to try out then I'm happy to. It'll only sit about here otherwise Smile

Phantomquartz · 09/08/2015 00:50

I've just noticed that there's a South Korean festival in Trafalgar Square tomorrow (today!!) - what do you think the chances of there being a beauty section? I think I might go and check it out.

ScrambledSmegs · 09/08/2015 08:56

Oh! KIMCHI!!!

Might see you there, Phantomquartz. I'll be the frazzled-looking slightly overweight blonde woman with two insane girls going crazy over the k-pop.

lucysmam · 09/08/2015 09:05

That looks like an interesting day out Scrambled. Hope you and Phantom have a good time Smile

mowglik · 09/08/2015 09:37

Oo that sounds interesting and it's a beautiful day to be out in London too..wondering if I can convince OH to drive us there

Thanks lucysmam I'll pass, my skin is def mid tones, more #23 and #27 so it def won't suit me..such a shame I've heard good things about the holika bbs. I am using the missha perfect cover bb in #23 which I'm really happy with actually so shouldn't be looking around til this one is finished at least!

Been taking a break from the long routines for the past few days and I've been keeping it basic with hada labo lotion followed by scinic or shara shara berry bomb AIOs (all in ones) and a sleep mask.

Ready to go back to the full routine now, I've missed it!

NewsreaderChic · 09/08/2015 09:38

Ooh I wish I could go, but I'm in the North West.

lucysmam · 09/08/2015 09:43

No probs, I'll use it for scary halloween faces. It has better staying power than any of the face paints I have left Grin

jackiekatu · 09/08/2015 11:26

Lucymam do holikaholika do be cream for olive skin tones? I have been looking for a cc /Bb cream for olive skinned but most of the Asian / Korean ones are for Pale skin ????????

lucysmam · 09/08/2015 12:41

I'm not sure jackie, I have the Watery one - second from right in this picture which is pretty accurate Smile

Someone else might be better able to help you find one, it's taken me ages (and samples and a mis-matched tube) to settle on that one.

VeganCow · 09/08/2015 14:09

jackiekatu Missha do darker shades bb cream, number 23 and number 27 are for darker skin tones. here

ScrambledSmegs · 09/08/2015 14:54

We're here. It is RAMMED.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 09/08/2015 15:04

Found a load of Korean products randomly in a Spanish perfumeria. Got a load of skin 79 masks - tried the honey one so far and it's gorgeous.

TheWombat · 09/08/2015 18:35

Love the photos! Are you both wearing MN scarves, or will you recognise on another from your milky clear Ab'd skin?

jackiekatu · 09/08/2015 20:00

Sorry meant no 27 in missha

lucysmam · 09/08/2015 20:13

I have a theory about grits -I think; the warmer/sweatier it's been, the easier it is for the grimey plugs of gunk to pop out of your face while oil cleansing (Loads came out tonight, like last time it was warm).

I'm going to test out this theory at some point (after next weekend) by steaming my face even though it's baaaaaaad and may lead to increased oiliness.

I figure once, as an experiment, is not going to cause toooo much damage.
