I reacted to the snail bee too m0gz, not fair is it Sad

I got paid today, hurrah! So will be purchasing the hada labo hylauronic lotion and cosRX Whitehead power tonight. Fingers crossed I don't react to these.

I had a monster of a cyst brewing next to nose, it had its own pulse and everything Shock But the cosrx patches have toned it down quite a bit and it isn't angry looking because the patches have stopped me picking at it I have a 'big thing' with work on Monday and really really don't want this on my face by then! KB to the rescue!

FrugalFashionista · 17/07/2015 19:38

Mogz sell to Gerti as she must be much closer! I have the Longer Name stuff coming too so could give it a good trial.

Gerti hope your treatment works quickly!

Scrambled have a lovely holiday!!!

m0gz · 17/07/2015 20:27

Frugal & Gerti I only ordered 2 of the little sample bottles / tubes as I am wary of anything moisturising oily. I am happy to pop the unused bottle of essence & steam cream tube in the post for free if either of you would like them?

I think I need to order a bb cream to satisfy my cravings Grin

jackiekatu · 17/07/2015 20:28

Where can iby retinal A from please?

lucysmam · 17/07/2015 20:50

Grin no probs wicked, just thought I'd offer.

Speaking of cleansers, I have ordered the Banila Co Clean It Zero samples from ebay. Anyone here using it? I'm mostly intrigued to find out the texture of it with it being a sherbet.

lucysmam · 17/07/2015 20:51

Have a fab holiday Scrambled! Smile

lucysmam · 17/07/2015 21:06

Stars hada Labo gokujyun lotion link here. Have linked ebay.co.uk - wasn't sure which one would be useful to you Confused

Skin and tonics review of it here

Cosrx blackhead power liquid here. That seller is no good for samples but that's cheaper than when I was looking the other day.

Very popular for clearing blackheads/sebaceous filaments.

50 shades of snail review here.

cosrx whitehead power liquid here

50 shades of snail review of the whitehead liquid here

Hope they're helpful Smile

lucysmam · 17/07/2015 21:15

Almost forgot as well, I think it was the harsh lighting in the pub toilets that made me look shiny today - I didn't look at all shiny when I checked in the mirror a few times this afternoon, at home and in natural light. Soooo...I think the No Sebum powder is a keeper.

I'll be out and about tomorrow (birthday party - I've been volunteered to decorate decking as a pirate ship Grin ) so will see what I look like without blotting after it's been on a few hours.

StarsInTheNightSky · 17/07/2015 22:14

Hope you have a nice holiday scrambled

That's brilliant and really helpful, thanks very much, I'll get reading Smile. I've been having a look but have been getting distracted by the Tony Moly banana stuff (cleanser, sleep mask and hand cream) I am getting a bit obsessed about whether they actually smell of banana, or maybe banana liquor which would be even better. DH might murder me in my sleep if I had a banana sleep mask though, he hates them, they make him very sick. Hmmm, the choices.

StarsInTheNightSky · 17/07/2015 22:15

Sorry meant second para to read thanks lucysmam.

lucysmam · 17/07/2015 22:18

Grin afaik, they do smell like banana! I haven't tried any yet though but they are on my list. I think bigbuttons does though - but it might be someone else.

I like the novelty stuff as much as the serious stuff - makes skincare interesting, and fun!

StarsInTheNightSky · 17/07/2015 23:04

Grin Grin Grin I need them in that case. I found a banana lip balm too, or as I have renamed it, the DH repellant. I don't think it's fair of me to order that, but the other stuff I am definitely getting, I'd better get back to focussing on the more serious stuff again, its like being a child in a sweet store! Thanks again for your help, very much appreciated Smile

leeloo1 · 18/07/2015 06:55

I had some free samples of banana shaped, banana handcream and yes they do smell like slightly synthetic bananas. Banana sweets I guess? The hand cream was ok, nothing great.

I'm loving the cosrx blackhead power, I'm using the asol first (as I have it), then the BP 20 minutes later and my skin looks so much clearer. Hurray!

I tried the bha/clay mask/oil treatment and it did nothing (apart from make my skin soft that evening - I'm guessing the 20 minutes of lush skinfood black sugar cleansing oil). No grits and the next morning my pores looked huge and I had a few breakouts. Ah well, at least I know what I'm missing and it's one of the first things I read about that attracted my to ab, so I'm glad I tried it finally.

Starsinthenightsky, sorry to hear about the chemo. I've been trying sulwhasoo samples and was sent some of the goa cream which was v moisturising and when I looked up what it was for it was thinning skin due to menopause. I'm guessing it'd work for you too? Good luck anyway.
.

FrugalFashionista · 18/07/2015 08:53

I tried the Missha Waterfull serum this morning and wow it felt great. Right now I'm so happy with my routine, lovely products, great results. Went barefaced again but put on some makeup later (I've rediscovered bright lipstick and need a flawless base for it).

Morning: normally just rinsing with water, Biore or Missha sunscreen and Dr Jart or Missha BB cream, today some serum.

Evening: Nip + Fab pads + snail bee + Innisfree red wine sleeping mask = soft smooth glowing skin.

What are your favorite products atm? Smile

lucysmam · 18/07/2015 09:00

My bubble mask arrived already! I went for this one but can't find an active listing for it now. I didn't realise I had ordered from a uk seller so am a very happy bunny this morning - thought I was going to have to wait!

Have tried a teeny bit on the back of my hand...you can hear the bubbles fizzing away Grin

I will proceed with caution after reading the snail lady's review of the su:m37 bubble mask & using too much of it. Plan to try it out tonight!

Have any of you binned old Western products? There are some things I haven't touched since I started buying proper AB products rather than the novelty stuff. I'm in two minds as to whether to slot them in so I use them up or get rid. (none of them are pricey btw, wilko 95p skin therapy stuff mainly).

lucysmam · 18/07/2015 09:06

oooh leeloo, I love the smell of those foamy banana sweets Grin Maybe I'll be trying something banana-ey as well next time I place an order. Or maybe just as a random pick me up order - I'm happy with the things I have atm but would still like to do some experimenting with different things out there.

I need a use for a little tub of blue Nivea if anyone has any ideas? It doesn't fit my routine any more & is tooooo heavy to spread on my body.

FallenAngel22 · 18/07/2015 09:12

Lucysmam I use the banilla co zero sherbet cleanser. I really like it, my skin likes it too. Wouldn't say it was Sherbert per se but it's interesting!

lucysmam · 18/07/2015 09:13

Back again, sorry, Frugal any chance of a link to a diy soap making site if you know of a good one? I think I'd like to have a go at making my own soap for something to do with the girls over the summer hols but would prefer it to be something useable rather than a Hobbycraft kit iyswim Smile

FallenAngel22 · 18/07/2015 09:22

I orders from eBay on 26 June the starfish cream and it's still not hear. No response from seller either. Think I'll have to open a case.

FallenAngel22 · 18/07/2015 09:22

Here not hear!

lucysmam · 18/07/2015 09:33

Was it a UK or overseas seller Fallen? 26th June was only 3 weeks ago - it can take as much as 6 weeks for things coming from overseas unfortunately Smile

StarsInTheNightSky · 18/07/2015 09:51

leeloo smelling of banana sweets sounds good to me! Thank you, and thanks for the recommendation, I've recently had a hysterectomy (and other surgeries) so I am getting some weird menopausalesque symptoms and thin skin, so they sound ideal.

lucysmam I love the sound of the bubble mask! It really is like being a child in a sweet store, or looking at the Avon catalogue for the first time aged eight and discovering a whole new world of products! Little blue nivea I used to use as an overnight foot mask, or as a stainless steel polish. I used to spread it all over the kitchen sink, rub in small circles, wipe off the excess, then wash it off. It used to be very good at getting rid of watermarks and make it very shiny.
