To Keep the pixie or not? With pics..

I've name changed for this so I can post pics to help. I've currently got a long grown out pixie cut which I loved when I first had it cut, and I have a hair appointment next week. I just can't decide if I should get it cut back short or grow it, and it's kind of at that pivotal point between the two stages! I can attach pictures of what it looks like longer and when it was first cut if needed for people to give opinions! Please help as I'm rubbish at making a choice on it!

Short is definitely better!

Hairnightmare · 11/07/2015 20:19

I've always wanted really long hair but my hair is just that irritating type that gets to collar bone length and starts snapping. Plus I never have the patience to leave it without either dying it or cutting it back off. I toyed with the idea of semi permanent extensions but didn't want to look like a bad extra from the only way is Essex Grin! I've worn clip ins a lot but they are a massive hassle. I've been googling short hair styles and quite like this one, but not sure if it is too short for my face to pull off! Thanks for all the replies, they are all very much appreciated

I think short. I've had my hair all sorts of lengths but i now have the cut you just posted - got it a couple of weeks ago. It feels great! Although i'll be leaving it a bit longer around the crown next time as my hair is too thick to lie down.

MarinaCoyle · 11/07/2015 20:53

You could totally pull off the one above. I'm for short and I think that one will look even more striking on you. DOOOOOO IT!

Cocolepew · 11/07/2015 20:57

Short definitely.

nooddsocksforme · 11/07/2015 21:25

i think you look great with it short. However I love short hair way more than long , but not everyone can carry it off (which sadly includes me) . If I looked as good as you I would defo have my hair short

Drywhiteplease · 11/07/2015 21:25

Short,short,short........sometimes I think long hair can also be ageing. you look very gamine with it shorter, remind me of Jen Lawrence when she had it short. She looks ordinary now.

MamaLazarou · 11/07/2015 22:55

OMG, you're gorgeous, OP. It's not fair.

Definitely keep it short: it looks really striking on you.

MamaLazarou · 11/07/2015 23:01

This is the style for you, OP.

Short hair looks better and you could go blonder too.

Def shorter - your face is stunning without the hair around it.

hiccupgirl · 12/07/2015 01:17

Try again! Your face is more stunning! Didn't mean to sound like you didn't look good with it longer too, just it's better short!

Yarp · 12/07/2015 08:10

Have a google of Michelle Williams. She has excellent hair, IMO - whatever the length

Yarp · 12/07/2015 08:11

I also prefer short though

Yarp · 12/07/2015 08:13

Michelle Williams bob

Yarp · 12/07/2015 08:15

The pic above is if you wanted to grow it a bit. But I really like your hair at the moment. Really shows off your lovely eyes Smile

WankerDeAsalWipe · 12/07/2015 09:50

Annie Lennox is a brilliant example of a woman who has always rocked a short haircut. The red buzz cut being the exception! She has strong features like yourself and always looks stunning imo.

Everythinghaschanged · 12/07/2015 09:55

Short. Not many people can look great with really short hair but you do.

Hairnightmare · 12/07/2015 20:10

You're all much too kind about my face Blush
I definitely think I'm staying short for the time being, thinking of going with that pic I posted up thread a little bit. My only concern is that my nose isn't lovely and petite like the woman in the photo and I'm a bit paranoid about it!
Now I'm just undecided about colour! I originally went short to grow out the colour I had in it and go back to my natural colour but am now thinking of going blonder...
I just can't leave it alone! Grin
