To Keep the pixie or not? With pics..

I've name changed for this so I can post pics to help. I've currently got a long grown out pixie cut which I loved when I first had it cut, and I have a hair appointment next week. I just can't decide if I should get it cut back short or grow it, and it's kind of at that pivotal point between the two stages! I can attach pictures of what it looks like longer and when it was first cut if needed for people to give opinions! Please help as I'm rubbish at making a choice on it!

You're all too kind about my face and cleavage, thanks OD Grin I don't really have any photos face on, I tend to only have selfies shameful I know from nights out and that's the pose I make in every single photo Blush to try and hide my nose haha.
I really like my hair short but I worry it makes me look older (I'm 26 and think I already look older than that!)
Dh isn't so much of a fan of my hair very short, but he likes it mega long and I don't. Eurgh decisions! Any pic suggestions of styles would be great!

Love it shorter as in first pics, really suits you.

BeautifulBatman · 11/07/2015 13:49

Don't have if longer - at least not in that flicky style - it seriously ages you. Crop all the way!

WankerDeAsalWipe · 11/07/2015 13:54

Its not that you don't suit it longer, you do, but you look more ordinary. I think you look really striking with it short.

WankerDeAsalWipe · 11/07/2015 13:56

You might also suit a really really short bob with a fringe and cropped in at the back.

SoftSheen · 11/07/2015 13:56

Keep the pixie cut. Very few people can really pull it off, but luckily you're definitely one of them. It looks great.

CatMilkMan · 11/07/2015 13:57

The shorter one.

321zerobaby · 11/07/2015 13:58

I prefer the longer pics.

MitzyLeFrouf · 11/07/2015 14:00

Shorter.

Good eyeliner action too.

jasmine1979 · 11/07/2015 14:07

I nearly always think the people on here that post pics on here with short v long hair look better with longer hair. It's usually far more forgiving and less harsh. I think it often looks very frumpy as well if it's not a great cut.
I honestly think the opposite in your case though. Smile You look stunning with shorter hair. Very striking and you have the perfect face shape and eyes for it. The longer hair looks very dull in comparison.
It might sound odd, but with short hair you remind me of how some of the models looked in the early 90s, before everyone started having the same boring long hairstyle. Smile

SuperFlyHigh · 11/07/2015 14:12

As wanker says why not try a really really short Bob with fringe and cropped in at back that's a change And I think a bit longer but if you don't like it then back to pixie.

Longer hair no not on you. The first longer with fringe looks like Courtney love and you have a much better face structure and eyes to pull off shorter and pixie. I'm not sure if I'm mad keen on slicked back pixie but I'm splitting hairs here.

SuperFlyHigh · 11/07/2015 14:15

Your face also suits the side fringe of the pixie however as you seem unsure and you say you're done up and freshly cut maybe a pic of what it looks like when you style it or quiz your hair stylist for tips for everyday styling. Can you clip it back or hair band etc good for changes.

nilbyname · 11/07/2015 15:48

We'll I'm not trying to be a meanie, but here's my opinion-

You've got - camera angle, face contouring, lots of make up on etc etc, obviously looking your best self. Any hair do is going to look fab. You're made up to the nines.

How does your hair sit day to day? What do you look like when it's just your average day/no filter/no flattering angle.

I think a side sweep fringe flatters your nose and jaw line. Lighter creamer blonde flatters your pale skin. Apart from that.....it's hard to tell.

Hairnightmare · 11/07/2015 15:54

Day to day my hair is styled like in the pics, either swooped smoothly to one side, or pulled back in a quiff. Makeup wise there's no contouring going on as I can't actually master it without my face looking stripy haha! I do usually wear a full face of makeup day to day for work or if I'm going out. I'll see if I can find a less done up picture of it to help. Either that or I'll take one from today, although the hair won't look so good as it's all grown out a bit mullety
All advice is good advice Grin

Ok here's a pic from today as I couldn't find a straight on picture. Just regular makeup on, powder blush eyeliner and mascara.

Toy suit either, you have fatastic bones.

I prefer longer.

nilbyname · 11/07/2015 16:12

You suit-damn auto correct!

SkodaLabia · 11/07/2015 16:19

I like! If you're bored with it could you grow the back into the bob shape you posted on your second post? And keep the sweepy fringe as is?

OrchidFlakes · 11/07/2015 16:42

It's so gorgeous short! Keep it as it is Smile

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 11/07/2015 16:45

Shorter shows your features better.

Enormouse · 11/07/2015 16:50

You look really striking with it short.

Heck5897 · 11/07/2015 16:56

100% short

Hairnightmare · 11/07/2015 16:59

I've been googling to see any different short styles I like, might post them here if anyone fancies giving me their opinion Grin dh just says he doesn't know, and my friends won't give hair advice anymore as they say I change it too much Blush
So if anyone wants to help WinkGrin

Keep it short - or grow it much longer.

That inbetween length that you had on the 2nd picture looks good - but it does make you look older.

Short really shows off your bone structure.
