Asian and Korean skincare products seem to be a big thing right now - we are falling in love with quite a few things...

Jessie that's typical, you could buy up a load of stuff before you come back and sell it all on eBay.

I wonder if I've got a fake Apple cleansing oil, it was from SingSing girl. I'll report back.

NoMoreMrRight · 18/06/2015 16:50

Confuzzling indeed Grin. Cool, thank you both, I'll order this evening. I am quite impatient in general, waiting for the little packages is going to be torture though......Shock

lucysmam · 18/06/2015 16:56

Scrambled's link is a good explanation of the whole routine, I've just been reading through it

I bought the had lobo toner from this seller and it arrived super fast.

I have been looking at these as well: Sheet Masks

FrugalFashionista · 18/06/2015 17:44

Tried to post twice, have lost both posts.

A very busy day today but have enjoyed the talk here on my brief moment off!

Finally tried the Missha Super Aqua Snail moisturizer last night, lotion consistency, really liked it, no breakouts. My favorite intro kit so far!

Interesting to hear that so many of you here are moving too. We are moving back home up North. I have loved my time in Italy but it is time to move on. Lots of goodbyes in the coming weeks, sad and a bit tough to do many things for the last time, but we will be back for holidays and if I have enough no-buys we might even buy a little second home in Italy as we grow older. I've lived in many different countries am already quite used to these changes. DC too! This is their third big move...

NoMore, the waiting is tough. My postie laughs at my happy skip when he hands over a parcel these days Grin

NoMoreMrRight · 18/06/2015 18:52

Ha! I can so doing that myself Lucy Wink

NoMoreMrRight · 18/06/2015 18:56

*see

leeloo1 · 18/06/2015 19:21

I got the tonymoly apple peeling gel from singsinggirl and wondered if it was fake as there was no inner seal/lid, like the tomato one had (or box). I emailed to say it wasn't there and had a long and mostly incomprehensible reply saying they weren't afraid of being accused of selling fakes as they have a shop as well as selling via eBay and that packaging sometimes changes. (I think was the jist of it). I was a bit irritated that their 'free gift' was just a tiny sample too. :(

leeloo1 · 18/06/2015 19:22

To be fair, her English was a 100% better than my Korean would have been .

CornwallsFinest · 18/06/2015 19:31

Well, cystic acne has certainly not disappeared - 3 new beauties on my jaw and under chin.

Have ordered some tretinoin but won't be in stock for a few weeks. I will likely have 5/6 weeks before I can give that a go. I've ordered the CosRx hydrocolloid patches in the meantime, hopefully they work short term.

Also bought the Mizon Placenta Ampoule Cream because I felt I need something else for the AM routine.

Thank you Phantom for the Hada Labo link to the 3D sheet masks. I'm wanting to try new ones once I use up all the MBD ones and they look perfectly affordable!

Good luck with the move Frugal I expect your skin will appreciate all the loving amongst the stress!

lucysmam · 18/06/2015 19:42

leeloo, mine had a seal inside and out but no box or spatula. I did read somewhere but not sure where that sometimes they remove outer packaging to save on waste. What does it look/smell/feel like and I'll compare with mine in the morning.

lucysmam · 18/06/2015 19:44

oh, also, my Missha face wash came from Sing Sing Girl - 3 samples, really well bubble wrapped & both original seals intact so maybe it is just the packaging and they were tight with samples that day.

Have a look on reddit - there may be a "how to spot a fake appletox" thread if you search the AB subreddit.

lucysmam · 18/06/2015 19:46

Cornwall did your A-Sol arrive yet? Gutted about the acne - the sample of that stuff & extra tlc are paying off for me if you ignore the beast on my hairline and flakiness where the fucidin dried one out on my chin Grin

CindyEcstacy · 18/06/2015 19:54

Cornwall - there's a thread very recently about savalon hydrocolloid plasters getting rid of cystic spots over night! Might be cheaper than cosrx

CornwallsFinest · 18/06/2015 19:59

Yeah, I've been using it since Friday so nearly a week. It has tamed a lot of what was there but not preventing new ones forming. Oh well, it may be a waiting game for it all to make a complete difference but I'm happier that my skin is in much better condition.

CornwallsFinest · 18/06/2015 20:04

The CosRx were £2.86 for 24 patches p&p free. Is that more expensive than the savalon ones? Where can you buy them from? Thanks Cindy!

lucysmam · 18/06/2015 20:05

I'd give it a while longer. I'm still sprouting some proper beasts but they're nowhere near as bad as they were. Hopefully your skin will start to appreciate the time/attention you're giving it and calm down a bit with the new acne.

ScrambledSmegs · 18/06/2015 20:19

My cystic acne has calmed right down. I think I was over-exfoliating it, and it was reacting by being both painfully dry AND oily, with cystic acne breakouts over the lower half of my face. So I cut all exfoliators out for a few days, until I thought my skin was calmer. Now I'm using a BHA every two days, and that's enough!

I've still got one or two spots, but they're little pimples rather than cystic monsters. The Tea Tree Essence has been a marvel - I can even use the Snail gel without breaking out now.

i also recommend cutting down on refined sugar Sad, eating more veg if you can, and taking Fish oils and vitamin B supplements. I'm sure you know about this anyway!

I don't know if that's of any help, Cornwall - cystic acne is grim and I want all of us to have beautiful clear skin asap. I've had enough of feeling crap because my skin is crap.

FallenAngel22 · 18/06/2015 20:24

Oh heck! I got carried away and ordered a load off stuff and been slapped with a £14 customs charge!!! What is the limit and how do i avoid in future? I love this thread but my bank account doesn't!

lucysmam · 18/06/2015 20:26

Fallen, less than £15 if you're in the UK.

I order individually, from a few ebay sellers...lots of parcels + no customs charges = happy dance when the postie knocks Grin

ScrambledSmegs · 18/06/2015 20:31

Or order from W2 beauty. She is what I would describe as 'haul friendly' Wink.

lucysmam · 18/06/2015 20:33

I'm only using the Clearasil pads 3x a week & my skin is loads better. No scrubby washes any more...it's a revelation (and no wonder my face was Angry

FallenAngel22 · 18/06/2015 20:37

Thanks lucysmam and Scrambled! I wont make that mistake again, I hate paying charges Blush

lucysmam · 18/06/2015 20:38

Is W2 beauty on ebay?

I have £60 ish to split between clothes and skincare - dp has paid for his digs for his sponsored bike ride.

COSRX and hada labo lotion are definites, can't decide what sheet masks Confused and can't decide what randomness to get (I'm debating a couple of unbranded bits - just to see what they're like).
