I am looking for a nice soft black eyeliner that doesn't need sharpening

Had a look in town yesterday and could only find liquid (which is too harsh for a lady of my vintage, plus I don't have a steady hand) or the pencil type, which I find too hard and a bugger to sharpen. All that remembering to put it in the freezer first lark, and then they snap off anyway grr!

I want a soft one that pushes up or something. It's for doing my upper lids.

Benefit they're real push up eyeliner might be worth looking at

Pixi, so good on ebay and great for the smokey eye effect. So cheap to. The only comment i would make is that it doesnt last that long. Its really good though! Comes with smudger and eyeshadow.

I hated the Benefit one - the worst eyeliner I have ever used.

i dont like harsh ones either BUT let me tell you about the best eye liner of all time

The bobbi brown gel eyeliner PENCIL

it stays on all day. its nicely accurate. Its soft so not like 'hard as nails lucky heather' looking and NO SHARPENING as its a propellor type
