Have you seen the photographs from the benefit at Claridges last night?

Ooh what's a Sebagh look? I didn't know that different doctors had a recognisable aesthetic.

DinosaursRoar · 13/05/2015 14:31

She's gorgeous. Not stick thin, not like she's starved herself, but gorgeous.

I'd like to know who she uses for her face work too, it's very well done.

Do we think it's her own hair or has she got a russian woman's hair stuck to her head? It does kind of look like it's always done...

Want2bSupermum · 13/05/2015 14:32

My friend interviewed her after she had her baby and was trying to lose the weight. She was very honest about working very hard on controlling her eating to make sure she eats enough nutritionally but not too much calorie wise. She basically follows the Eat to Live plan. Read the book by Dr Fuhrman.

I really respect Liz Hurley and Joan Collins for being honest about how they manage their weight. My friend wrote an amazing article which was then edited into a shell. You see writing the truth about how you should eat doesn't sell magazines. My friend now has her own PR agency.

After having our babies we used to refer to our dieting as channelling Liz Hurley.

squoosh · 13/05/2015 14:34

Definitely someone else's hair she's wearing.

NeitherHereOrThere · 13/05/2015 14:38

She was wearing control pants in those photos - you can see the outline on her thighs Wink

At her age, I think being too thin can be very aging and LH has got the balance just right - unlike VB.

luckingaround · 13/05/2015 16:33

Dr. Sebagh is the great derm love of the rich and famous. An expert of the is she/isn't she/what has she done look, most of the time.

ZaraW · 13/05/2015 16:51

But how can what she eat or more importantly not eat be healthy sounds like hell.

Greengardenpixie · 13/05/2015 18:16

Tbh, she is like a million other 'stars'
They have the money to have the best creams, treatments, facelifts the lot. Is it really that suprising? Get real!
The one true thing is, they will age at some point. They will look odd at one point. Look at Joan Collins. She may have a 'fixed' face but i bet her body is just all wrinkly.

donemekmelarf · 13/05/2015 18:31

Why do people congratulate rich andfamous people on how good they look? Confused

We could ALL look like that if we had the money for the expensive procedures.
Want long, thick hair? Get the best extensions and weaves money can buy.
Face looking a bit old? If you have the money, you can gradually buy a new face.
Boobs droopy? Money no object, you get them fixed.
Bum seen better days? Even bums are lifted now.
You can have everything fixed if you have the money.

It's not exactly an achievement if you can BUY your looks.
I don't see the point of saying 'good for her' and 'how amazing she looks'.

Greengardenpixie · 13/05/2015 18:43

Totally agree with the above ^^ Exactly my point.

JoanHickson · 13/05/2015 18:49

All that help comes at a cost, and I am talking more than money.

Coastingit · 13/05/2015 19:39

It is good genes too though. Lots of people spend £££ on their faces and bodies and don't look that good. But yes it is her job to maintain her beauty. Still good for 50, maybe by 60 a more natural look will look better and she will ease off the fillers etc. but right now she looks incredible.

Coastingit · 13/05/2015 19:40

What on earth do you mean Joan, a pact with the devil? Grin

JoanHickson · 13/05/2015 19:50

Time, operations, pain, scar tissue and goodness knows what else.

Want2bSupermum · 13/05/2015 19:51

Yes she has the money and makes the time. However not many in her position look that good. She doesn't look younger so much as healthy and vibrant. She has picked a great team for her face. I don't think much else has been worked on. Her body is down to good genes, watching her diet and selective exercise.

The interview she did with my friend she said she doesn't run because its too stressful on her body. She does a lot of Pilates. I respect the fact she is honest about the work she put into looking this awesome. I also think Honor Blackman looks amazing. I've never seen someone aged 89 look so great.

JoanHickson · 13/05/2015 19:55

Supermum , yes healthy and vibrant.

Bombinate · 13/05/2015 19:56

A frequent flyer card at a very good plastic surgeon.

Sansarya · 14/05/2015 10:03

YY to Honor Blackman. And she was stunning in her youth - saw Goldfinger for the first time a couple weeks ago and couldn't believe how gorgeous she was. She must be in her 80s now and is still beautiful. I'm sure she's had work done but it's very good work!

Truckingalong · 14/05/2015 12:32

Liz is an absolute beauty and I have real envy for how fantastic she looks but just for balance, here's a pic of her shot with different lighting.

How does Liz Hurley do it?
DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 14/05/2015 12:45

Oh bugger, I'm on the app and can't see the pic of her looking less than perfect!

squoosh · 14/05/2015 12:48

She was on an old episode of Morse last week playing a lesbian schoolgirl. Her acting was then as it is now. Absolutely pants.

Sootgremlin · 14/05/2015 13:38

I'm sure she does put a lot of effort in, but it does help being startlingly beautiful to begin with, I find.

All the money in the world won't make you look like her at 50 if you didn't look like her at 28.

noddyholder · 14/05/2015 15:56

She looks amazing I am the same age and I make a fair bit of effort and don't look liek that so yes I say genes!

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 14/05/2015 22:55

Scotgremlin has it on the head - she was born with an unusual set of features (hourglass figure, wide-set eyes, small nose, good bone structure, even features) which make her outstandingly beautiful. She goes to a lot of effort and expense to stave off the effects of ageing which affect us all - but on her they have maximum effect due to the attractiveness of the raw material.
I do not share her attributes apart from the hourglass figure if I say so myself, but if I were to spend the same amount of time and expense I still wouldn't turn heads in the way she does.
< chants: 'looks are not important >

IDismyname · 14/05/2015 23:06

I saw her in the flesh for the first time on Tuesday. She was having
Lunch, but there again, I didn't see any food in front of her!
