What short haircut would you love to have but aren't brave enough?

Going to a proper hairdresser tomorrow (as opposed to DIY) and going to have it all chopped off.

Any ideas?

From someone age 48 with shoulder length highlighted hair fighting the grey ID love a platinum blonde super short pixie cut but haven't got the nerve to do it ..., probably not helpful ;)

Well once it's cut I'm dying it either silver or platinum so that's good. I like pixie cuts but I don't have a pointy chin. All the vair glamourous pixie cut models have pointy chins hanging from their cheek bones.

I want my hair like Audrey Tatou in Amelie but, even as a hairdresser in a salon full of absolutely brilliant stylists I can see for free, I'm too scared to end up with a scary 90s schoolboy bowl cut!

I nick styling creme from my ds to blow dry it into place, then wax

takes 2 minutes

I love this my hair is too curly.

Ds has styling cream, so that's a plus for short hair....I can nick his stuff for a change

I have a platinum bleached pixie cut and I'm the wrong side (what do I mean, the right side, dammit!) of 50, and don't have a pointed chin either. But it looks great and I love it.

Short hair can suit any face shape. A good hairdresser will advise you what works for your face. Take photos of what you like and go from there. I'm going platinum blonde again soon too. Really miss being blonde.

Have a look at the short cut Jennifer Lawrence had, her face is not all chin and cheekbones at all.

I'd love the Frankie Bridge haircut but I don't have the right face shape for it...
