Opinions on this ring combination? Picture to judge!

Just wondered if this combination of rings work ok for a wedding and eternity style?

Would I be better going for a more traditional diamond look?

I do really like purple and the significance of an amethyst but, I can't decide!

It's hard to take pictures with my phone so I've included a few for you to look at.

I do like them and I think they look nice together. It's ok that not everyone thinks they work as long as some people think it's a nice look.

Most people I know have diamond wedding/eternity/engagement jewellery so I guess I don't want to look ridiculous!

It's only your opinion that matters,I think they're beautiful-not something I could pull off because I have spindly witch fingers! I have a sapphire engagement ring and I love it, it's nice to have something a bit different.

I think it works and is a lovely look. Purple is my favourite colour, so I am biased, but I think they both really suit you.

I like the rings but I don't think they sit well against each other.

Are both the same carat gold otherwise one will wear the other away quicker.

Love the amethyst ring, but not sure with your wedding band. Could you wear the amethyst on your right hand?

I did that with my engagement ring as they were different metals and I worried about the titanium in my engagement ring eating my platinum wedding band.
