A while ago, someone recommended something to help reduce the appearance of "chicken skin" on upper arms. Of course, I thought that the name of something so important would lodge in my mind and I would buy it when next shopping. Write things down in future! It might have been Aveeno or Eucerin but no idea which one? Extensive searching of the S&B board has failed to throw it up? Help!

Flexitol worked for me. Think there were a few threads. It's the high concentration of urea I think.

I'll attempt a link...

Thank you! I'm pretty sure it wasn't Flexitol which was mentioned as I already have that for my feet but the reviews on the thread are great so am definitely willing to give it a go!

Cod liver oil capsules?

Eucerin 10% Urea Cream definitely helps my arms. I've been using it for a few weeks and there is a definite improvement. It was recommened by India Knight in the Style Mag of the Sunday Times. It is also good on my dry shins.

On a negative note, it is very thick and takes a bit of working in so I dont use it when I am in a rush!

I make a scrub from granulated sugar mixed with a few steps of my shower cream or oil, which I use a couple of times a week in the shower. It works for me and is cheap!
