Wanted: seriously good knickers

I'm returning to work shortly. Dd is 10mo. Body still a post partum wreck size 18/20. My favourite type of pants in the past have been "sensible" cotton/elastane mix not granny knickers but medium height. Not thong. Not hi leg. I would love if they were pretty and cotton but prepared to compromise style for comfort. Do such knickers exist?! If so from where?

I struggle to see sloggi in different styles (mainly I've seen shorts that don't suit) or in smaller sizes, e.g. a 12, though I would rather go a size up for comfort! Will have to look at JL!

I normally prefer 100 percent cotton pants but Victoria's Secret pants 5 for £20 look uncomfortable but are phenomenally comfortable. Even the cuts and styles that look as if they must definitely be uncomfortable are gorgeous to wear. Really soft, even the lace bits are super comfy.and they wash perfectly. its honestly like witchcraft!!!

I third Bonds, they are fab. However they are now out of my price range, and I have just bought some PP's from TK Maxx... Very good first impression, not as sturdy as Bonds but very comfy!
