Basic t-shirts for Spring

I need plain t-shirts in black, grey and maybe navy. Good quality cotton, possibly with a bit of elastane. Not too short and boxy. Scoop neck. Maybe three quarter length sleeves. Real shops, not Primark or supermarkets. Not too expensive.

Lots of the ones I've had in the past go all short and wide after a few washes, and the neck line goes saggy - any that avoid that, please?

Thank you. :)

I hate my Jigsaw Pima cotton ones. I find they go baggy and are too short. Just goes to show!!

American Apparel.

Had forgotten about this!

I won't shop in American Apparel.

Still looking. I bought an M&S one but am not loving it - think I should have probably sized up for a change, as I've put some weight on. :(

I'm so cross that M&S no longer do their brilliant Limited ones - I still have at least four of them, and they are going strong still over a year in and with constant wear.

It's difficult to get decent t-shirts IMO, especially if you're not a 'standard' fit (I am very booby).

I buy a lot of icebreaker 'fashion' tops (they are not very fashionable, but decent basics), but it is £££ (and recently I am wondering about the investment as my older tops and jumpers are still great, but I've chucked a few more recent ones).

I know Jigsaw tops to wash well, but again £££ and tbh I think some of their styles are a dowdy

M&S have been hit and miss with me. I have a sleeveless ruched top that's 3 years old and looks new, but I've had others start to look dodgy after a few washes. DP has gone right off M&S t-shirts
