Do have my eye on the new summer Laura M Perfume, and the Tiempe Passate, but open to any suggestions, he is feeling generous!

A Nars Audacious lipstick, and a Diptyque candle?

BumWad · 28/03/2015 11:14

Can I come with you too?

AuntieStella · 28/03/2015 11:15

It's available in more places now, but always worth throwing Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse into your basket.

polyhymnia · 28/03/2015 15:10

I really like but can't really justify the latest Chantecaille eye shadow palette.

Apatite1 · 28/03/2015 15:23

Diptyque candle. By Terry makeup. Serge Lutens perfume.

Go crazy.

Jackie0 · 28/03/2015 15:26

Anything by By Terry
Sunday Riley Good Genes
Eve Lom cleanser

OttiliaVonBCup · 28/03/2015 15:28

Tiempe Passate is lovely. Definitely.

A good brush or two in addition?

GwendolynMoon · 28/03/2015 15:39

Second the anything by By Terry recommendation!

LondonRocks · 28/03/2015 15:41

Diptyque candle and body lotion. And some Laura Mercier primer.

And a gift voucher for £50.

polyhymnia · 28/03/2015 16:52

Third anything By Terry.

Chicinwellies · 30/03/2015 11:41

Haha thanks all. Ended up with yay the Tiempe Passate perfume, after dousing myself in in whilst in store. It is Beautiful. Also the Nuxe Huile, much needed, and a Nars lipliner . Husband rather pale by this point so called it a successful day !

Perfect choices.

Tiempe Passate is one of my old loves.

polyhymnia · 30/03/2015 14:03

Yes it's a lovely subtle perfume.

ElizabethHoover · 30/03/2015 14:04

I find this notion of making a husband pay to do something he likes doing rather.. antique

If you want something just buy it Hmm

ElizabethHoover · 30/03/2015 14:05

imagine it the other way around - you want to meet up with mates for a day and he makes you 'take' him to buy something he wants

VERY odd dynamic.

LondonRocks · 30/03/2015 14:38

Bloody hell. Lighten up.

AddToBasket · 30/03/2015 14:51

Aromatherapy Associates Bath Oil.

Either Deep Relax or Deep De-Stress.

Really work, really expensive.

ElizabethHoover · 30/03/2015 14:51

you think?
I think weird

zeddybrek · 30/03/2015 14:52

Great choices OP! Love Space NK Smile

noddyholder · 30/03/2015 14:52

I thought that eliz but didn't say as I knew I'd get lynched! I just cannot imagine even the suggestion of something like this from either of us.

polyhymnia · 30/03/2015 15:04

Me too. Can't really recognise/ imagine the scenario myself at all in this day and age.

I ( all too often ) buy what I want there myself with my own earnings, except for Christmas when DH asks for a wish list to make life easier and actually forces himself over the threshold!

But I guess that's a whole other discussion and, as a fan ofthe shop, I'm always very happy to pass on my own favourites when asked on S and B.

ElizabethHoover · 30/03/2015 15:05

maybe husbands can buy themselves free time in other ways too Hmm

If I banned my H or made him pay to do something utterly reasonable I think he would just ignore me

ElizabethHoover · 30/03/2015 15:06

h " i want to go to rugby'
wife' ah well thats a pita because i xyz'
H ' oh well another time'

NOT

wife ' you must use our money to buy me something'

Or, like everything, it could have been a rational conversation:

W: you do know you've racked up quite a few tickets for stuff this summer?
H: Really?
W: well yes, its x, y, z, and then's there's the a, b, c you've already been to
H: Hmm yes, now that you list it, its quite a lot. Sorry- I didn't think.
W: Well its not really fair - these are my weekends too
H: yeah you're right. Sorry. Didn't mean to piss you off. A few mates bought tickets for a few things and I didn't add it all up. Right, I'll take Monday morning off, we'll have brunch, and go to that weird shop you like. On me. Just to cheer you up. Won't be so thoughtless next time. Cool?

Not everything has to be Big Man shitting on little woman you know. Hmm

FrancesHB · 30/03/2015 16:20

I'm obsessed with Lipstick Queen. £35 a pop but lovely.
