Off to Space NK with a guilt ridden husband (nothing dire, just rugby/cricket related) - What should I buy?

Do have my eye on the new summer Laura M Perfume, and the Tiempe Passate, but open to any suggestions, he is feeling generous!

Brave attempt at a scenario Goinghome, but it still reads to me just like big breadwinner magnanimously giving little woman a treat. Why is it assumed she can just take next Monday morning off from her job?? Anyway, such considerations are probably best left for other boards than S and B.

I dunno. Maybe sometimes someone want to make a nice gesture and buys something they know the recipient will enjoy. That's all!

Enjoy your new stuff, OP!

GoingHomeNow, thank you. Guess we're all entitled to our opinions. Rather happy with marital arrangements and, allthough he is a 6ft6 national rugby player he certainly is not, for the record, big man shitting on little woman. PS please dont speculate about scenarios, it can come across as rather small minded, and a little more 'weird' than me simply asking for peoples valued opinion. Phew. Have a good day!

It was GoingHome who said 'Big Man Shitting on Little Woman' not Elizabeth wasn't it?

We only have your post to go on OP - so, you will find that there are some who think 'lovely - man goes to rugby/football/lapdancing/stag weekend = woman getting make up/spa day/pedicure,' while others think 'bloody hell - that really happens in the actual human world?'

And, for absolute clarity, I am not saying your husband bought women with shared money - I am saying that this thread, no matter the section, will remind some of us of what goes on in other threads.

Nothing in a vacuum and all that . . .

The only shop my DH likes are specialist garden centres, which I find utterly tedious. Would you criticise me if I said I'd treat him and look enthusiastic for an hour?

Hope you had a fun time Op.

Haha we did have fun times thank you, with a diversion via Montezumas for easter egg present shopping. Tiempe P is Gorgeous, and definately one for keeps. Thanks all for comments and yes that was a sincere thank you to GoingHomeNow, the sarcasm slightly lightly directed towards 'Elizabeth' but either way, matters not, genuinely appreciated comments and suggestions for purchases.
