Are these Clarks sandals nice or hideous?

Please help, I can't decide - are these nice for summer, or hideous and awful? I know DH will hate them, but if they're comfortable (which I think they will be - I've had wide-fit Clarks wedges before Blush and worn them to death) and they are not too old-lady, I might get them. For context, I am 35 and not very trendy (but would like to be...) I would probably wear them with skinny dark jeans and stripy tops, which appears to be my 'uniform'.

Love the white ones.
It's how u wear them.

I quite like them

Love them! Practical, comfy, run-able in, cute with skinnies, skirts or wide legged jeans in that 70s way. Enjoy them as you skip fabulously past the fashionable set in their achingly cool heels which are only good for standing/sitting, but not for real life!

"I am really surprised at how many people think they're really high!"

Really! That is because they are high. If you wear very high heels all the time I suppose you might not find them that high, but for casual I never wear heels as they aren't very comfortable to me. To me a high heel is anything over two inches Grin

mammuzzamia · 09/03/2015 10:16

They are quite high. Higher than I would like for casual, personally

emsyj · 09/03/2015 10:20

Ah, but they are Clarks so the normal height/comfort rules don't apply! I've had quite a few pairs of heels from Clarks (I'm currently wearing the Ciera Pier heeled brogues) and they are always much much comfier than similar height shoes from a 'fashion' type shop. It's raining today so I will probably go and have a look in the shop on Thursday before I make my final decision!!

I like the navy ones. They are quite retro. Too high for me for walking about.

MarkingMyPlace9 · 09/03/2015 10:23

I think there lovely, and I'm 29.
Lovely, summery Shoes, whats not to like!

I don't think they're high but I think they're hideous. My nan wears stuff like this and she's in her 70s
