Do I look frumpy in this dress? (with photos! )

Trying to find a nice patterned dress for office-based work. This dress (Boden via eBay) looked lovely in the catalogue picture, but worried the neckline isn't flattering, makes my boobs look odd, fit makes me look fatter than I am (8-10 on top and 10-11 on bum/hips), DH thinks the pattern is aging / dowdy (I'm 35).

Honest views required please!

Its OK, but You'll always remember what DH said about it and you will always have that little seed of doubt in your mind.

It's just not very flattering on a 35 year old with a good figure.

Well this Granny wouldnt wear it! Its a horrible cut and colour .

It doesnt make you look fat though and you have a lovely figure that could possibly wear anything. But not this.

Depends on the rest of you op. Black opaques, heels, a great bag and well styled hair it will look nice. Nude tights and grandma perm it won't.

It does nothing for your lovely figure. Keep looking, there are (much) better dresses out there!

Where on earth do I find this elusive dress - for office, managing team of 10, central London but not The City, ideally a pattern, can wear jacket over the top, probably v-neckline (think I should just give up on curved necks), shows off my nice slim waist?

How about a Lindy-bop wiggle dress like the Brigeitte pencil dress? Modest enough for work but flattering for your figure and age appropriate.
