why do allenglish women try to look 16 rahter htna being "casualy elegant"( tm phrase my mum)

Yes I think the key is not wearing stuff that is too trendy - the best dressed women i see go for a more classic look (doesn't have to rule out jeans...)

Fashion victims - they can be mutton dressed as lamb - you cannot slavishly follow all the fashions - you'd look like a bag lady ! You have to find your style and stick to it - update with accessories and colours.......
