Nice outfit Dry

Hmm I think I should get the tape measure out and check in wearing the right size bra. I Should check out the intervention threads.

QueenCardigan · 30/11/2014 09:28

Love that amber. Luckily it's sold out in my size.

QueenCardigan · 30/11/2014 09:29

this is the top I ordered last night.

santamarianovella · 30/11/2014 09:46

Morning!

omg, queen, those BV glitter ballerina are good enough to eat, sooo beautiful,

shop, you look good in red lipstick, and that's all that matters, lots of people wear a signature colour, because that suits them,I wear my nars orgasm gloss all the time because it suits me, not because I long for summer or anything.

novice,it really varies, I have jeans sizes 26-24 ,even have one in 27, it depends a lot on what brand of jeans I'm wearing, and what fit i want,if its frame ,which I'm wearing a lot lately ,then 26 is fine, they run a bit small, and hardly go baggy. CE,are always big and I need to downsize a size or two, the boyfriends I have are 24.R&b stretch a bit,but I prefer a more relaxed skinny look.

It's really just like bras, you can never be one size in all brands,

MarshaBrady · 30/11/2014 09:56

Agree the Bottega ballerinas are sooo pretty!

GeorginaWorsley · 30/11/2014 10:14

Just popping in to say hi.
have read thread in its entirety

Re The Fall, I missed first series but have avidly watched this one after all the hype.
loving Gillian Anderson 's wardrobe.
Don't really get Jamie Dornan love though.

Am also looking forward to Remember Me tonight in front of the fire with nice glass of something in my hand.Smile

Have enjoyed all the links!

Am loving Mint Velvet or Whistles jeans at the moment.
MV ones wonderfully soft.

Also a quick question for you stylish ones....
leopard print fur coat, yay or nay?
Dd 1 persuaded me to buy one but wire it last week and felt....wrong.
was dressed down otherwise but even so, couldn't feel confident about it.

shopafrolic · 30/11/2014 10:18

Am dressed now for Christmas fair and family lunch. HL leather skinnies, Santa's MB knit, and NB trainers. Thanks for the casual outfit idea One

QueenC - Thanks Thanks I love the Jaegar red and the blue (was hoping the black piping might be pleather?). And the red Other Stories v neck. The grey is an interesting shape but the cutaway at the back won't work for me not as toned as I used to be
I haven't heard of that brand before Amber so investigated further and saw this and thought of Dry

LinusDKD · 30/11/2014 10:50

Morning!

I tried using that bra measuring system before but for me it just didn't work as the cup size I ought to take is just waaaay to big.

I usually wear a 34B but in Continental brands so maybe the system doesn't work for them. Or the style I go for (underwired balconette) requires different measuring?

In NY I did buy a Myla bra (well DH did Wink ) and went for a 32C in the end as the 34B gaped a teeny bit at the top but it was still perfectly ok.

I just measured myself again and under the bust I am 30 and over (leaning forward etc) I am 37 so quite a lot of difference but I have tried DD or E cups before and my boobs were just lost in them.

BrandyAlexander · 30/11/2014 11:13

Hello Georgina! I have really wanted a leopard print coat for about 3 years but (not that I have looked v hard) have never found one that I didn't think would make me look like a posh version of Pat Butcher or Bet LynchGrin. I haven't lost all hope yet, link the one you got?

Santa, thanks, was interested because one of my clothes frustrations is that sometimes 25s are too snug but 26s are too baggy. I tend to wear low rise 25s for that reason.

Funny with all the bra measurements! Definitely a 27 under my bust and 28s (I think that's 60 or 65 in the French system) are comfortable to wear but grrr omg hens teeth would be easier to find!

bettykt · 30/11/2014 11:35

Hello and welcome Georgina

Question for Fedup what was the colour of the last Essie nail polish you recently linked? My local Boots has a rubbish selection, am still after your slate grey shade, hoping they have the colour you linked.

MarshaBrady · 30/11/2014 12:30

Wedding dress gone Shock

Sleep what you said at the mu has stayed in my mind. At the beginning of the mu that is. It was a good thing to buy at the time, doesn't mean you have to keep it forever. Or something along those lines. It's helping me throw out stuff.

Hi Georgina no advice on coat, but hello

GeorginaWorsley · 30/11/2014 12:44

Unfortunately can't link as it was from Primark Blush

Classy bird meGrin
In defence it is actually very very similar to Top shop ones and as it only cost £35 I won't be too heartbroken if I pass it on to one of my girls.

I read a thread on here a few weeks ago about leopard print coats and reactions were mixed.

I like idea of coated or pleather skinnies with it but fear that ship has sailed for me....Sad

BrandyAlexander · 30/11/2014 12:58

That's a shame! If it looks nice then wear it. I know I would get it if it was the right print and I wore it with black jeans and black shoes or boots. I'd let the coat speak for itself. In my mind i know how I would wear it, I just can't find it!

Coated Skinnies are still in, definitely not sailed and I reckon it's still got another 3/4 months in it.

I tend to ignore the vast majority of negative reactions on other threads. I think it's impossible to judge anything at all until you have seen it on a person.

GeorginaWorsley · 30/11/2014 13:19

Ah thanks novice
Yes black or grey outfit sounds good

Drywhiteplease · 30/11/2014 13:35

Hello again Georgina .leopard print coat scares me.HOWEVER.....have seen them looking fab on blogs (Online Stylist, Does my bum look 40 and maybe on Amber's ) . The important thing is that you feel good wearing it.

I like these: What do you think QueenC

Georgina if you think you're not going to get great wear out of the coat then Primark is absolutely fine, in fact the store is great for things like that or if you want to try a trend out but don't want to commit tonnes of money. Go for it. I've heard H&M are doing some great pleather leggings, haven't seem them girl but they are getting good reviews and I think Stokey has bought some.

santamarianovella · 30/11/2014 13:49

Id look ridiculous in leopard fur, ,but they look amazing on some,

AmberNectarine · 30/11/2014 13:52

I have a £20 ASOS one that I wear all the time Georgina. That and a slick of red lippy brightens up the dullest outfit!

Topazandpearl · 30/11/2014 14:42

Thank you Dublin Airport for your free wifi which will allow me to catch up before flight home! Hope all are well.

GeorginaWorsley · 30/11/2014 14:43

Oh yes Amber I must add the lippy!

Agree it was my indecision re the whole 'look' that stopped me spending much on it.

I love my coat ed skinnies from Warehouse though.

You ladies on this thread are so nice Smile

Stokey · 30/11/2014 16:01

Those shoes are great BettyKT

I wore the pleather leggings on Friday, my girls loved them but they are a bit big as I'd been to 3 shops hunting them down and finally bought a 12 as there were no 10s left in London.

Novice I'm a 28 back too and tend to buy all my bras online, mainly Freya.

I keep looking at Claudia Winkleman's lipstick on Strictly Shop. She must be a winter but always wears very frosty or nude pinks, while I'm like you and am most comfortable in reds.

shopafrolic · 30/11/2014 16:16

Welcome back Georgina nice to see you again and YY to trying leopard.
Stokey I think Claudia wears the pale lip as her eyes are so heavily made up. It'd be hard to wear red with that much on the eyes I reckon. Leggings sound good, mine are a bit bigger than I would have liked but for the price they were too good to walk past.
Topaz hope you've had a good trip
Marsha wow! Some clear out. Well done you. Did you sell your wedding dress? Can you buy something with the proceeds a la my wedding dress bench? :)
Linus balcony the bras definitely measure differently for me.
Has everyone had good weekends?

cartoontrickster · 30/11/2014 16:24

damn phone never let's me view any links! I will have to go back and take a look later on tablet.
I am also obessed with bra size! I am a 29 back (on a thin day) the most recent bra I got was a 28ff but it is a little tight! 30f is usually better but I find, especially freya stretch very quickly and so aren't comfortable because the back is too large. so hard to get right. I would expect a 32 back to be a size 12 but I don't think it always runs true.
oh where do you measure your waist is it directly round your belly button?Blush

QueenCardigan · 30/11/2014 16:29

Those are lovely betty but pointed toes don't suit me.
georgina I wouldn't personally wear a leopard coat as I don't really like animal print but I think it's a great look if you can rock it. Either with black or over jeans. Just avoid the pat butcher earrings with it and you'll be fine!

QueenCardigan · 30/11/2014 16:32

cartoon I buy panache bras as they fit me really well but I find they stretch quickly too that maybe because I only have two so they get worn lots. I start on the loosest hook and then get tighter as it stretches. At some point I must try a 28 as I wonder if that would be better.
