Alternatives for SLS-free bodywash; Naked seem to have disappeared

Sheesh. Just when I found something we all liked and which suits all our skins, Naked seem to have gone under.

What other budget-priced SLS-free bodywash and shampoo do you use?

Sanex is good, their body wash one for kids is lovely, smells nice and 'clean' ifykwim and is a good price. I get it in Asda

Whhhaaaaat? Nooo I was meaning to go on and order another lot today because I've ran out!

Holland and Barrett do a range, Dr Organic I think, great stuff and good range of products. Often on buy one get one half price offer. I'm loving the lavender body wash for evening baths and I can really recommend the Argan oil based night cream, amazing stuff

I think Sanex - even Sanex zero has SLS?

I use Jason bodywash - which I now get from Amazon - it's about a tenner for just under 800ml and lasts yonks

and for hair I use Faith in Nature which is about £3.99 - I think Oxfam now sell it

Unfortunately the Sanex range all contain sodium laureth sulfate, even the 0% range (which is paraben free).

For hairwashing there is the Body Shop Rainforest shampoos, they do have mixed reviews, but they are on sale at the moment.

faith in Nature has ammonium laureth sulfate - how does that compare to SLS, does anyone know?

I always buy my shower gel in TK Maxx. If you have a rummage in their toiletries department there are often some lovely SLS and paraben free products.
Often it's come from Australia or New Zealand.

Apparently, it's been 'discontinued' due to poor sales. That's what somebody on another forum was told the other day after their website, facebook page and products in Boots disappeared

Amazon is my friend when it comes to buying toiletries as I live in a rural area... It sells pretty much everything. Certified organic stuff should all be suitable (there's usually a picture of the ingredient list too).

If you want to go to a real shop, try holland and Barrett, the one in my nearest town sells the whole range of dr.Organic toiletries - all that I've tried are very good, and no nasties - great on my toddlers skin as well as mine.

Green people. Dr Hauschka if budget allows. Otherwise, how about a big bar of nice soap?

Moo Goo, or the Say Yes to ... (Carrots, tomatoes or cucumbers), that's definitely sold in Waitrose but I think I saw it in Asda too, or the Jason range

Oh, I just bought some naked shampoo in boots the other day and my hair is looking great... I thought it was a Boots own range? Or is it something different?

furball there are only one or two Naked products still in stock at Boots, looks like they are running down their stocks, and no bodywash, only a couple of shampoos and conditioners.

Halos and Horns from either Boots or Tesco.In the baby section but it's totally fab and free from SLS and all other nasties.We all use it in our house.Great price too.

The Organic Surge one from Waitrose is lush. It's what we all use in our house now. Last week it was 1/3 off too but I'm not sure if that's still on.

I called into Holland & Barrett at the weekend and got some Pomegranate Dr Organic shampoo and showergel. It's a lovely smell and I'm liking it on my skin and hair. Thanks for the recommendation raw!

My local boots still had some of the Naked products, especially a lot of the curly hair ones so it's worth checking around a few stores maybe.

Nooooo!!!!! Their shampoo and leave in conditioner are the only ones I've tried that don't ruin my hair .

You're welcome to both bottles of my naked shampoo. I found that it made my hair greasy and sticky.

If the range has been dc, the upside is that you can expect stock to appear on the various discount etailers fairly soon.

I like child's farm shower gel. Another kids one but it's got an awesome zingy orange smell. Love it.
