Alternatives for SLS-free bodywash; Naked seem to have disappeared

Sheesh. Just when I found something we all liked and which suits all our skins, Naked seem to have gone under.

What other budget-priced SLS-free bodywash and shampoo do you use?

Weleda every time. Worth it
Or any if the Yes To range

There's a brill men's range called Bulldog with no nasties in too. I buy it for DS who doesn't realise it's better for his skin than Lynx!!

Green People Aloe Vera shower gel is very good, and a little goes a very long way. I haven't tried the Organic Surge shower gel but their day cream and face wash are great.

I like the organic surge, can't remember which I got but it smelt really good

avagosling · 21/10/2014 10:52

I've tried pretty much all of the Dr Organic ones, they are really lovely! Occasionally I treat myself to the Bringer of Peace body wash by Fushi, it's pricier than Dr Organic, but oh so luxurious, just the smell makes you want to stay in the shower a bit longer haha. Also great for my little one's dry skin, especially in winter months.

Bulldog is 30% off at Ocado at the moment.

Has anybody tried the Burts Bees body wash?

BlackHeadedGull · 21/10/2014 18:17

Oh no, their curl tamer cream is the best thing that I've ever found for my hair!

For shampooing I use the biorganics range; a big bottle lasts ages. I buy it from www.lovelula.com/t/brands/biorganics and I think you can find other sls free products on the site.

If you like old-fashioned flower smells then Cath Kidston is paraben and SLS free, a bit expensive though. We use Jason or Say Yes to Carrots as our standard shower wash and I use Cath Kidston occasionally when I want to smell like flowers.

iwantgin · 22/10/2014 07:32

Awww.. I really liked the Orange Blossom shower gel.

Green People are nice. They seem a little more expensive, but only have to use the tiniest amount each time. The Daily Aloe shower gel is fresh and light.

I also second the Dr Organics range from H&B.

Feedback from my pensioner father who has SLS allergy, Halo and Horns is rubbish, Childs farm with the red top is brilliant, and johnsons baby softwash is great for delicate bits !!
