Which of these three boots do you prefer?

Can't decide - what does the MN jury think?

these - cheaper but not leather - but good reviews;
these; or
these?

Or none of the above? To wear with skinny jeans / combats / skirt & leggings as a slightly smarter alternative to hiking boots (which is what atm I wear with almost everything in winter time). . .

Size 4 feet, scruffy, and 45, btw :)

I like the first ones myself!

PrimalLass · 15/10/2014 15:47

The second ones.

WitchWay · 15/10/2014 15:49

I like the first ones much more than the others

Size 4 feet, scruffyish and 49 btw Smile

Roobix04 · 15/10/2014 15:51

The first ones. I tried them on last year and they're really nice but unfortunately didn't fit me.

Takver · 15/10/2014 16:23

Definitely tending to the first ones. DD likes the third ones better, though . . .

not my cup of tea sorry

eurochick · 15/10/2014 16:46

The first ones.

Greengardenpixie · 15/10/2014 16:46

I like fly london boots best. I think the second ones. Rocket dog are odd sizing. I am a 6 and i had to order a size up in a pair of boots by them. Also thumbs totally down for not leather. This is for 2 reasons. 1. The plastic will peel and there is feck all you can do about it. If you scuff leather you can at least polish over it. 2. They dont let your feet breathe and will fire up your feet. Thats my reasoning. Fly london do loads of boots. What about DM's? They are some really nice ones on their website.

Between the first two - the leather ones would probably last longer, but the first ones look better.

Takver · 15/10/2014 16:52

DMs sadly don't fit me - a 4 is definitely too big, a 3 too small.

I've also been less than impressed with the DM rigger boots I bought for work, they really haven't lasted well. Which is annoying as I bought them despite the sizing issue as it's really hard to find small sizes in decent quality rigger boots - spent £90 and they didn't last any longer than the £30 ones I normally get.

Try Dr Martens authentic wedge instead or some proper leather bikers.

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 15/10/2014 16:53

All of them!
May be the 3rd one if I had to choose...

Milmingebag · 15/10/2014 16:54

Hush puppies have some clumpier leather but waterproof styles.

Milmingebag · 15/10/2014 16:58

What do you think of these ?

Takver · 15/10/2014 17:00

Definitely don't like the linked ones, sorry! I don't really do heels at all - the first pair is about as high as I'd go for every day use.

OP posts:
Takver · 15/10/2014 17:00

Will look at the Hush Puppies ones though, remember a friend had some nice boots from them

Milmingebag · 15/10/2014 17:00

these ?

Milmingebag · 15/10/2014 17:02

Milmingebag · 15/10/2014 17:03

these even!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/10/2014 17:10

None of them, sorry. But if I liked the style and was buying, I would deffo go for leather and wouldn't even contemplate non-leather.

Takver · 15/10/2014 19:45

Hmm, was tending to the rocketdog ones, but DH also likes the leather Fly london ones Confused

AlpacaYourThings · 15/10/2014 19:46

None of them, not my style at all.

Chandon · 15/10/2014 19:53

Don't contemplate plastic shoes please!

Your feet will hurt and smell.

3rd ones nicest

SwedishEdith · 15/10/2014 20:03

2 or 3- I like both!
