Length is fine. Try tights closer to skirt colour.

The shortness I was concerned about. Mutton and all that! Have got black opaques and will get darker wooly ones.
I never did short when younger. Lost some weight and would like to! Just don't want people to think i am a joke!

Not too short, but am not convinced by the black knee boots. Brown knee high, or ankle boots might look better.

Well, you look as if you have nice legs so maybe try some brown ankle boots with a small, chunky-ish heel?

Neither of those work with the purple tights, I don't think, sorry. Have you tried the black boots (both pairs) with black opaques?

I think the higher ones work better and lok nice and I think legs always look better in black opaques.

Late to this. Just to say you look great. Not too short. Knee high boots working better in these pics. A chunky heel ankle boot would be good, however.

May be in the minority, but I like the maroon tights. Don't chuck them out!

You look waaaay younger (and look great - well done for weight loss!).

Suggestions for other skirts - the plain black is nice but I've seen quite a few shorter skirts recently and the tartans are quite nice, also a dark mottled charcoal I like.
