I'd like someone to recommend me a red lipstick which isn't too pink or too orange. I want a proper pillar-box red. I've been looking for literally years.

Thank you.

Have you tried Revlon Fire and Ice, or MAC's Russian Red? I'd like to know about effective treatments for acne scarring (e.g lasers and skin peels), please.

Ooh, good call! Will check those out.

This is the advice i want:

How do I get the haidresser to do layers that suit my hair and not just the 'cut of the month'? At the moment they all seem to do box layers and longer at the front, which is fine for straight hair, but really doesn’t agree with my slightly wavy hair :(

I would love a mascara recommendation! For dry, sensitive eyes and RGP (hard) contact lens wearer. Every single thing I've tried has ended with flakes in my eyes and irritation. And tinting never looks as good (and is expensive).

Best youtube instruction video recommendations for interesting ways of putting up shoulder length hair that I could do myself

I agree with Mac Russian Red. it's a good strong red and very matt so it stays put. I think a lip liner is also vital with red lipstick to get that strong definition.

I have very watery eyes and have to use waterproof Mascara. Lancôme do the best ones - I like 'Doll Eyes.' Take it off with baby oil - don't waste money on the remover they'll try and flog you.

I want the best foundation which is like doublewear max cover but in a sort of NW20 shade. Please.
