What would look nice with this skirt?

have a wedding to go to next fri and have just bought the following: skirt from monsoon planning to wear with long brown boots but not sure what sort of top to put with it. Really would like something i can comfortabley wear again as not really a skirts and dresses person. Slightly worried that skirt a bit casual for wedding but again wanted something that would get some wear out of. have got brown v-neck jumper which bought today too but not sure like the two together and think def looks too casual. Any ideas would be gratefully recieved - short of time and not a lot of choice shop wise locally. Skirt is a pine green, with darker green flowers and mid brown embroidary (not clear in pic on link). Thanks x

did you get the monsoon skirt from a shop or online? take the skirt into the shop (if poss) and there should be a couple of tops that would be matching

had a skim throught the coast site, theres a nice wrap top, cream, or a chocolate bustier with lace, which is gorgeous

I wandered about cream but wasn't sure if it would be too light what with brown boots at the bottom and the skirt being dark?

Still got bit of a tummy from having dd (a year ago mind) so not sure if anything belted would be flattering. Need to keep to a bit of a budget too if poss. Stuff in coast is lovely though.

(think the M&S one would look good with jeans, afterwards)

NP, I bought in shop but didn't see many tops to go with. It was in a big section of other bluey, greeny type stuff - should maybe go back and have another look - are they good at helping if you ask in store?

Anniemac, not easiest thing inworld just now, would need to take dd with me (year old), dh working on call right up to wedding so can't take him, and new to the area so no pals I'm close enough to to drag round - bit sad all told ! Nearest big shops 40mins away by train - might just have to do it though?! I hate shopping and I hate trying to find formal wear for occasions - just not good at it.

go to debenhams, get a personal shopper to fetch tops for you while you and dd do a puzzle/drink juice/flick through mags
