I love this Joules bag but I can't decide on a colour

Here. Can't decide between the nice bright cheerful tan or the more subtle dark brown.

I coveted this when it was in the shop. Just found it still available on the Next website. Now can't make up my mind. It looks a nice roomy bag and it's got compartments which a lot of bags don't have at the moment. I am sick of fishing around in my bag, I need compartments!

8-7 to the brown. The tan is making a comeback.

Just realised that I actually saw the tan in RL in a shop at the weekend.

I thought it had been made by someone trying to launch a business selling bags. One of their early efforts, iyswim.

I like the tan - leather is much more practical than suede, and the colour is classier imo.

Hate the random blue buckle. It upsets me.

The dark brown is nice.

I have to say I agree with Castlemilk in that suede might age badly.

I have a different style Joules bag in the tan colour and it has a blue strap and I love it. A definite vote for the tan.

I prefer the look of the tan bag BUT owned a tan Joules bag a couple of years ago, wore it with a (Joules) navy blue coat and the colour of the coat stained the tan leather, couldn't get it out, so the side of the bag next to my coat was ruined.

Not saying that all Joules bags will do this and indeed it may have been down to the coat, but the leather looks very similar.

It is lovely though. If you buy direct from Joules you should be able to find a money-off code knocking around.

At first the blue buckle looked like a mistake to me, like they forgot they needed two tan bits and only had one so grabbed a blue one and hoped it would look ok. However then I noticed the strap which it matches so it looks less mismatched and random, (but I still think both buckles should be blue.)
I'm leaning more toward the tan than the dark brown.

12-18. Ice ordered one in tan.

If I don't like it I can always send it back.

I daren't order a brown one as well. I can't afford to keep them both.

Tan it goes with black and brown. Chocolate brown looks wrong if worn with black and is less versatile.

The TAN one is much more fun, will age better and the random blue buckle makes it different from any old tan bag you can get from any old supermarket/high street chain. Tis fab.

Loving the wee rabbit thing too.
