Spent hours trawling the internet and the answer to my question is 'yes'
All the delightful clothes for girls make me and boys can have rank cords or jeans and more jeans
it is SSOOOOO unfair

oh gosh this old chestnut again. i agree whole heartedly. ds1 needs lots of new stuff for winter and i am dreading the shopping. dreading it.

TheDullWitch · 19/09/2006 18:39

OK just list favourite boys clobber websites. Let s not go into the whole boring argument again.

MrsApronstrings · 19/09/2006 18:39

otter - clicked on this thinking of you!!!

ComeOVeneer · 19/09/2006 18:40

Just went into H+M yesterday and got some lovely clothes for dd (almost 2). They did have cords but lovely bright green and orange, with cute sleeveless jumpers to match.

longjohnalexsmum · 19/09/2006 19:23

hermyknee-give me some examples

FrannyandZooey · 19/09/2006 19:26

Do you like Vertbaudet NAO?

longjohnalexsmum · 19/09/2006 19:33

if anyone knows where i can get age 8-9-10 clothes for my 6 year old son that don't make him look like a teenage asbo holder who skateboards all the time, then i will be grateful.

Kelly1978 · 19/09/2006 19:38

debenhams?

1Baby1Bump · 19/09/2006 19:39

notanotter- totally agree.
boys ranges are total crap!
they are always half the size of girls too!

1Baby1Bump · 19/09/2006 19:40

i mean the range much smaller, not the actual clothes!

longjohnalexsmum · 19/09/2006 19:41

kelly- mostly got writing all over them and pictures etc .or sportswera style.

hermykne · 19/09/2006 20:43

longjohn sorry dashed to feed and put to bed
let do a bit of work and i'll hunt some gear out what age?

longjohnalexsmum · 19/09/2006 20:44

well, he's 6 but needs age 8 bottoms and age 9-10 tops.but would like him to look like a 6 year old not a 10 year old.

Beetroot · 19/09/2006 20:50

My boys look stylish.

They wear zara and Hennes with a bit of gap thrown in.

MABS · 19/09/2006 20:54

Captain Tortue boy stuff is gorgeous,as is Molo

Spidermama · 19/09/2006 20:57

Agree with MABS (who btw knows what she's talking about when it comes to clothes). Molo is great. I trawl on ebay for stuff by molo, oilily, toff togs, jigsaw junior, kenzo, Ikks, catamini etc.

badkarma · 19/09/2006 21:01

I got my wee man a lovely top in Asda today. It looka like a short sleeved top with a shirt underneath and the collar is the shirt collar. And I bought some cool tops off a MNer a while ago, they are some of my favourite. Next has some stylish trousers and tops at the minute, Gap too. I have to admit I buy Asda, Tesco and Primark clothes as my boy is almost 2 and well into tractors and crawling round on his hands and knees going BRRUUUUMMMMMMMMM with a small lorry, also out in the stones loading them into his dumper, he gets down on his knees and looks under to make sure he has enough stones in it...

Ok, my last 5 lines have nothing whatsoever to do with clothes

longjohnalexsmum · 19/09/2006 21:04

have just checked out molo and captain tortue on google and it's not my cup of tea.
i like quite plain stuff, primary colours, dislike logos, camoflauge etc.
