Seemed to me that none of the girls were really wearing the right size?! Particularly the first girl. TOTALLY the wrong size Shock

Thank you! I was shouting at the screen. That pink one was a horrendous fit. The wires were nowhere near her body

SorrelForbes · 01/07/2014 13:41

I missed it. I feel sad and relieved all at the same time!

beccajoh · 01/07/2014 14:51

Here you are Sorrel www.itv.com/thismorning/style-beauty/bigger-breasts-bra-fitting-fashion

Deep breath, dives in:

1st lady - none of those bras fitted her! The gores are floating so far away from her body. They're probably at least three cup sizes too small for her.

Sports bra - didn't look too bad although it was rising up a bit at the back.

Strapless bras - The black one was a little too small in the cup. The beige M&S one was way too small!

The pink Panache bra - it looked a little narrow for the model but it wasn't too bad. She could probably have gone up a cup or two (I bet she hadn't scooped, as I could see back bulge!). Why did they choose a model with (approx.) 30F cup boobs to demonstrate an attractive bra for larger busts? They should have used a GG+ model at least.

LaurieFairyCake · 01/07/2014 16:05

Are we saying that the wire needs to lie flat against the body? Confused

Mine have never done that

SorrelForbes · 01/07/2014 16:14

Yes, the wires should lie along the inframammary fold (not on breast tissue) and the central gore (between the two cups) should lie completely flat against your body.

beccajoh · 01/07/2014 16:19

I'm sure they said the model at the end was a DD. Either way she was hardly the right choice for modelling larger sized bras.

SorrelForbes · 01/07/2014 16:22

Ok, definitely in the wrong bra then as she was more like a 30F!

LaurieFairyCake · 01/07/2014 16:22

Yes, I thought they were supposed to lie flat - I have bras that 'fit' as far as they can that are only a couple of inches away so they will have to do.

Kewcumber · 01/07/2014 16:22

Laurie - mine never used to either. Until I tried a particular plunge balcony shape and realised I wasn;t so much wearing the wrong size as the wrong shape.

SorrelForbes · 01/07/2014 16:23

LaurieFairyCake You probably need to go up a few cups and maybe looks at different style.

LaurieFairyCake · 01/07/2014 16:23

And also I prefer the cleavage produced by them not lying flat - if they were to lie flat with a gap between they'd be under my armpits and would look very unnatural and much larger than they look that in a bra that doesn't fit perfectly.

LaurieFairyCake · 01/07/2014 16:24

There are no larger cups in bras that I would wear

SorrelForbes · 01/07/2014 16:31

LaurieFairyCake Sorry, I disagree. You need the right size bra that will give you side support to prevent that 'East/West' look.

Have you tried any of the following plunge styles?:

Freya Deco
Bravissimo Satine
Curvy Kate Elegance (I have this one, the gore sits flat and it gives amazing cleavage!)
Ewa Michalak S or CHP styles
Curvy Kate Tempt Me

Have you measured following this guide?

SorrelForbes · 01/07/2014 16:32

This is the Elegance:

LaurieFairyCake · 01/07/2014 16:35

The Elegance is very pretty but too pushy-uppy for me Smile

They don't go up to my size either - currently wearing a curvy kate 34K with about 2/3 inch gap between the wire and my chest

LaurieFairyCake · 01/07/2014 16:37

Measuring with that guide I am 34 band and 48 over - so 14 inch difference

BuzzardBird · 01/07/2014 16:42

I commented on another thread about all the armpit boobs on that feature. Dreadful.

SorrelForbes · 01/07/2014 16:43

That suggests you need a bra size in the region of 34JJ.

I don't find the Elegance gives a lot of lift (I wear Cleos or EMs for that) but pushes them together (a lot!) to give good cleavage.

SorrelForbes · 01/07/2014 16:46

LaurieFairyCake It sounds to me that you want 'them' front of centre rather than falling outwards or having major cleavage? Have you tried the Panache Jasmine?

LaurieFairyCake · 01/07/2014 16:47

Not found a 34jj or a 34k that fits with the wires touching the chest. Its not just that there's a 14 inch difference, its that theyre very full breasts - they look fake tbh and they sit up high already so push up isnt so good.

I reckon I've tried every bra on the market thats not push up and none fit 'properly'.

gymboywalton · 01/07/2014 16:51

have you tried the panache tango? i find that really good-keeps them upfront-very supportive.

LaurieFairyCake · 01/07/2014 16:53

The tango is the one that separates mine and gives me the East/West look described above Grin

I look hilarious in it - and I can't move my arms

You're right Sorrell, I want them at the front and not at the side - they look smaller that way - I have a very small frame, only 5ft tall so pushing them to the sides looks really odd

wafflyversatile · 01/07/2014 17:04

what's the east/west look?

LaurieFairyCake · 01/07/2014 17:06

Really far apart hill tops - mine would be over my arms
