Hello ola

Don't lose heart. Lets start with the basics.

Hair colour?
Length preference?
Bust size?
Colour preference floral/patterned?
Heels/flats?
Sleeves/shrug/wrap?

SnapeAndLily · 29/06/2014 17:44

Have you looked at Hell Bunny dresses? One of this style with a shrug, maybe?

DottyDooRidesAgain · 29/06/2014 17:55

FauxFox · 29/06/2014 18:02

Asos have some nice things for cheap:
dark floral
pale floral
classic navy could be dressed up with gold or bright shoes and accessories
or what about a sale bargain?
phase 8
dickens \7 jones

olaflikeswarmhugs · 29/06/2014 18:05

Also I have these in both black and white and I'd really like to wear either pair .

Does "either pair" make sense ? Looks wrong ? Blush

I can't get the link to work Confused

FauxFox · 29/06/2014 18:13

These shoes? How old are you if it's not a rude question? My niece wears those, she's 21 and they are the height of student fashion and absolutely hideous, but I'm 36 so what do I know Grin

I'm 28 Smile

DottyDooRidesAgain · 29/06/2014 18:16

Ok so given those shoes do you have a funky style?
Knowing what style colour you like would really help ola Smile

olaflikeswarmhugs · 29/06/2014 18:18

Yes I am quite quirky which is why I find it hard to find plus size clothing I like . I kind of have my own taste Grin

I'm not entirely convinced by the picture that those shoes would be good with a dress, but I haven't seen them in RL so I might be completely wrong!

Simply Be have a sale on at the moment - this and this are both lovely.

olaflikeswarmhugs · 29/06/2014 18:20

I've worn the white ones twice with a dress . I'll try and find a link

OP posts:
Thurlow · 29/06/2014 18:20

Oooh, how about this? Covers your arms too if you'd prefer that.

Mabelface · 29/06/2014 18:21

Try Simply Be. They sell Joe Brown's stuff there, otherwise definitely look at the 1950s style dresses. www.simplybe.co.uk/shop/joe-browns-rambling-rose-dress/uk223/product/details/show.action?pdBoUid=9819#colour:Floral,size:

I'd look on asos for dresses then. They are the funkier side of fashion as well as basics.

I don't think anything I link to you would like as those shoes are hideous to me. Definitely not what I would wear to a wedding. But then I'm 38 not 28!

FauxFox · 29/06/2014 18:23

Can't you wear that RI dress olaf with a massive black/navy (can't tell the colour) hat you would look awesome!

FauxFox · 29/06/2014 18:25

Or what about 50s shape here? I've seen that can work with those shoes?

DottyDooRidesAgain · 29/06/2014 18:29

long

Floaty

Lace

MisForMumNotMaid · 29/06/2014 18:32

bodycon dress would work with black or white

PinkandTwinkly · 29/06/2014 18:46

Have you seen these Lady V dresses designed in conjunction with George from FFFB?

Any one would be wedding suitable
