I'm getting some Clarks brown leather 'riding' boots called Ojore. Saw them in In Style last month and am awaiting stock arrival. Around £60.00

Tutter · 05/09/2006 12:14

still can't beat fryes imho. you have to scout about for bargain ones though...

nailpolish · 05/09/2006 12:14

am not allowed new boots as have casual brown ones and smart long black ones already but will mostly be lusting after these - have seen them in at least three 'hot for autumn' magazine features and still love them. Will be trying them on and waiting for the sale...

Tutter · 05/09/2006 12:16

nailpolish · 05/09/2006 12:17

I have got the fake Fryes (look exactly like Tutter's last link) from Schuh which were in their sale last year for £15.

bundle · 05/09/2006 12:19

they look like safety boots..(a la steel toecaps)

expatinscotland · 05/09/2006 12:19

I think I'm going to get these - a bit dull perhaps but friends tell me they're v comfy and I need good all-round pair.

nailpolish · 05/09/2006 12:22

KTeepee · 05/09/2006 12:24

I like the ones you posted Mrs B. Saw someone in the park last winter wearing something similar and loved them but couldn't find anything in the shops (at least not ones I could afford....)

nailpolish · 05/09/2006 12:25

are you all going to be wearing them with skinny jeans

OP posts:
Tutter · 05/09/2006 12:28

god no

bootcut as ever for me

skinny jeans on me = barrel on matchsticks - not a good look

expatinscotland · 05/09/2006 12:29

bootcut jeans and cords w/a real waist NOT hipsters, which i find horrid on all but the tall and skinny.

nailpolish · 05/09/2006 12:31

i ONLY wear hipsters

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 05/09/2006 12:32

bootcut jeans and cords for me too (they are hipsters but am tallish and skinnyish and, critically, wear them with tops long enough that no gape ensues)
