I have a high waist and can only really wear hipsters, otherwise my backside looks unspeakably large. But yes - NO gapping. Thank heaven for tunics this season. Being tall, the potential for gapping is worryingly high.

i got quite a few pairs i nthe sale at the end of last winter and can't wait to put all my sandals away...

I've got a dark brown pair of flat knee high boots in suede

Also have dark brown knee high leather ones with a sort of block heel from Jones Bootmaker

Have a pair of pull on knee high black ones with kitten heel

Black leather pair that are mid calf with a high heel

Black leather low calf with a block heel

i want some chunky, trendy ones so will watch with interest!

But I have to say - it's a beautiful summer day here today - very warm.

nailpolish, yes I think black, have v little that would go with brown. I know it's dull but maybe once I've got the bog-standard boots I could be a little more adventurous next time

suede/leather dilemma going on here as well. I always manage to ruin suede walking to work.
