Shower gel with gorgeous scent

I'd like to get my SiL an extra birthday present as the gift she asked for is terribly practical and not something for her. I thought a really nice shower gel is something she would never buy herself and something she can use every day as a bit of a treat.

I can't stretch to Chanel-type body washes, but I recall that Moulton Brown had lovely scents. However they seem a bit passe now! Does anyone have any recommendations? Would like to use a company that will dispatch straight to her as a gift.

Roger & Gallet - Thé Vert, Rose, or Fleur D'Osmanthus.

Caudalie - Fleur de Vigne body wash & cologne.

Molton Brown stuff is still really nice.

I'm not a fan of L'Occitane. I had a rose spray which gave headaches.

I saw someone mentioned Philosophy. Some of their fragrances can be too much (sickly sweet), some are nicer than others. But very creamy, luxurious and last forever.

Me too, Gwendolyn - have you tried the body oil too?

Try TK Maxx beauty department

Birdsgottafly · 08/06/2014 15:45

Are you sure she would want one?

I pick practical presents that although practical, are for Me.

My SIL and sister keep buying my fancy gels etc and I just feel disappointed, because I don't want them and if they were going to spend more, I would of chosen something more practically expensive or something else, as well.

Not to put a dampner on things, but this frustrates me every Birthday/Christmas.

Kiehls, especially the coriander range.

Try TK Maxx; they have lots of prestige brands at excellent prices, plus some of them are relatively obscure so you may come across a serendipitous treat.
White Company - lovely smells and packaging includins stylish bag
Not sure of your budget, that may be a good way of determining the options
Actually, if you have access to Melaleuca products their Shower Satin in Pear is just deeeevine...

Naturally European (you can get it in Oliver Bonas and I've also seen it in an independent gift shop) stuff smells divine and the scent lingers. Rose Petal is my favourite but the Verbena is also lovely. It's not massively expensive either
