just because it suits you? Or is that daft?

WillSingForCake · 04/06/2014 18:05

I've done it, but only with cheap Dorothy Perkins sundresses!

bigTillyMint · 04/06/2014 18:06

I wouldn't, but I do buy similar styles as in what suits me!

MuttonCadet · 04/06/2014 18:07

I've done it with 2, but only because they had no other colours.

I also do it with shoes......

MrsLettuce · 04/06/2014 18:07

I'd be inclined to, yeah. Would depend how quickly they'd date though.

dexter73 · 04/06/2014 18:08

No because I would always prefer one and wear that one all the time and ignore the other 2.

CarCiKoTab · 04/06/2014 18:10

I've done it but with vest tops from H&M. I bought loads in all different colours and I'm glad I did, not like I wear them all at once Grin

Tex111 · 04/06/2014 18:13

Definitely. I've even bought two of the same thing in the same colour if I really liked it. I don't really follow trends though. I wear what I like, so my clothes don't date and if I love something I know I'll wear it for years.

Milmingebag · 04/06/2014 18:13

Yes. Finding dresses that look good is such a rarity that I would buy in colours I like and duplicate black ones because I'd wear them the most. Previous experience has taught me this is very wise.

Hopefully · 04/06/2014 18:13

I have three Me &Em dresses the same in different colours. I doubted my sanity but they have been so useful, and have different looks (khaki one seems much more casual than smart marine navy one, although the same dress).

God yes. I have done regularly.

I don't follow trends so if I miraculously find a dress on the high street that suits my retro style I snap it up in all available options!

And usually in a 12 and a 14 so I can accommodate my weight fluctuations!

AWimbaWay · 04/06/2014 18:15

Absolutely, it's rare I find something that I like that suits me, so when I do I always stock up!

WildThong · 04/06/2014 18:18

It's nothing fancy, just sundresses from tkmaxx for going on holiday. I bought one that I really liked on and fancifully think is flattering. They have another 2 colours and I am very tempted.

Yes. I got a brilliant Jojomaman bebe maternity dress in a pale blue polkadot and am searching ebay for any more colours in that style. So comfy!!

SirRaymondClench · 04/06/2014 18:21

I would. If I really like something I buy two of them, that way if something happens to one, I still have another!

YellowYoYoYam · 04/06/2014 18:22

Yes I would definitely do this. I have done so with the same dress in different patterns rather than colours.

Ragwort · 04/06/2014 18:25

Yes, absolutely I would, agree with others that it saves time deciding what to wear - I do similar with trousers - in the summer I only have linen trousers and winter I wear cords - all from M & S, all very boring but they suit me and I feel comfortable Smile.

justaweeone · 04/06/2014 18:27

Link,please

AwkwardSquad · 04/06/2014 18:27

I have done, once. I loved the style and got it in three colours. I wore all of them.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/06/2014 18:32

Yes. And if I find neutral tops that I like and suit me, I even buy duplicates in the same colour.

Tangoandcreditcards · 04/06/2014 18:33

Yes. Definitely.

Shesparkles · 04/06/2014 18:39

If it fitted and flattered, absolutely. I've done it int he past with tops and shoes, I just haven't found that elusive dress yet!

OnlyLovers · 04/06/2014 18:42

I recently bought two (they only came in two colours). They fit well and are flattering, you can wear them alone or with cardigans/boots in winter, they wash well – why not?

I have also been known to buy two identical pairs of jeans when I find ones that fit and suit me and are in the sale.

WildThong · 04/06/2014 19:22

It's this one, but please don't slag it off Grin it's knee length and fits/drapes in just the right places for my tum!

I think it is a nice dress but I'm not sure you need 3, 2 at the most otherwise you will might get fed up of it!
