Thanks Veins It was Duo that I tried, guess it just doesn't suit my skin.

Juan Minutes. Ages. As long as you can without gagging. People on here said they built up from seconds to ten minutes Shock. I probably manage half that, but it seems to be enough.

Yes, coconut oil is amazing on body skin (found it gave me massive zits on the face). It costs a bomb though, so I just use a moisturiser. Buy it in the foreign foods aisle at Tesco, it's used in Indian cooking and comes in a jar the consistency of butter.

IDugUpADiamond · 02/06/2014 20:17

The Soap and Glory foot file

woolypigs · 02/06/2014 20:22

Vaseline for nails. My nails have never been so strong and shiny.

wonderpants · 02/06/2014 20:25

Revlon lip butter

Flexitol for Keratosis Pilaris

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/06/2014 20:31

Wooly - Do you just rub Vaseline into your nails before bed then?

poorincashrichinlove · 02/06/2014 20:33

Fushi organics rosehip oil. My skin is smoother, the colour more even and more radiant after just a few weeks of use. So much so that I happily go out without any foundation some days.

Chicksy · 02/06/2014 20:41

Another vote here for
H&M Vests - these are fab
Leighton Denny Nail file.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/06/2014 20:48

Yes to the H&M vests. In fact, I need more!

Cahu5 · 02/06/2014 21:14

Definitely the Vaseline on nails.... Only been doing it a week and my nails are better than they have been for a long time. Just rub it in before bed and voila..... Amazing

OneAprilDay · 02/06/2014 21:22

Which H&M vests are they? I have a maternity one I still wear which is fab. Scoop neck, thick straps and l-o-n-g. Would love a non-maternity version.

JuanPotatoTwo · 02/06/2014 21:22

Thank you thesaurus - have some in the kitchen cupboard somewhere, will dig it out and have a go :)

Redcoats I think I bought mine in H & B but am sure it'd be a lot cheaper in the foreign good aisles in supermarkets.

Snog · 02/06/2014 21:23

Dermaflannel

Redcoats · 02/06/2014 21:24

My H&m vests have thin straps. They're ace because they're so long.
And You've just reminded me that the vests i wear in bed in summer are actually H&M maternity ones.

OneAprilDay · 02/06/2014 21:43

Thanks I will look out for them. I have lots of Topshop ones which never seem to fit properly.

RubyrooUK · 02/06/2014 22:03

Vaseline for nails, in fact I moisturise my whole hands with it now

Jellypudmum · 02/06/2014 22:24

Rosehip seed oil as night repair for face.

SquallyShowers · 02/06/2014 22:29

BBH
Coconut oil for multiple purposes
Revlon colour stay foundation (ditched Estee Lauder Doublewear and Chanel Vitalumiere for this)
Superdrug products - love the Vit E hot cloth cleanser and Vit E night cream. Bye bye Eve Lom silly prices.
Flexitol for dry feet, dry elbows and spotty upper arms
Vicks vapour rub for fungal toenails (amazing!)
Recently - Sudocreme for spotty, red or dehydrated skin. Thin layer at night. Wake up to soft, soothed skin.

Thanks MN Grin

chicaguapa · 02/06/2014 22:33

Liz Earle Hot Cleansing wash. I'd never heard of it before but I love it now.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 02/06/2014 22:37

At least half a dozen of my no good / completely crap things have now been mentioned (micellar water - 2 different brands have irritated my skin, now only used for cleaning make-up brushes, LRP - does nothing, Umberto Gianinni curl gel - crunchy yet lank hair, rosehip oil - did nothing for me, Extraoridnary oil - lank and sticky).

Definitely agree about Soap and Glory foot file and Leighton Denny Crystal Nail file though.

And would like to add Ultrasun sun creams, there are not many that don't irritate my skin, these are great.

WildThong · 02/06/2014 22:44

Vaseline for my nails, really great.

I have never ever had nails, now nearly 3 months in using Vaseline every day I actually have to file them down.

frankietwospots · 02/06/2014 22:49

Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara
Naturally Radiant hot cloth cleanser and serum from Superdrug
