Soap and Glory foot file and foot cream.

alltoomuchrightnow · 03/06/2014 21:51

i have never found the Lanacane either. and these stories about finding it in Poundland and 99p shop??! I've been to ones allover the country! i think mums netters have cleared them out

WildThong · 03/06/2014 22:54

I Would be interested to know which sulphate free shampoos are recommended?

Anjelika · 03/06/2014 23:01

I just got the Lanacane anti chafing stuff from Amazon this week. Only tried it today for the first time but it seems really good. I bought Real Techniques Expert Face Brush after seeing it recommended on MN and use it every single day. Can't ever imagine putting foundation on again without it.

rockybalboa · 03/06/2014 23:04

Another vote for the Soap & Glory foot file. Amazing piece of kit.

kelper · 03/06/2014 23:04

I bought the lanacane stuff last week, and from the two times I've used it, it works! can you really use it on your face, or have i got my products mixed up?!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 03/06/2014 23:05

Sulphate free shampoos - I can get away with the milder sulphates as long as I avoid SLS. My favourites are the Body Shop Rainforest range and Dr Organic from Holland and Barrett.

My eczema is on my hands, not my scalp, switching away from liquid soaps to bars has also really helped. The Dr Organic liquid ones are fine for me though (again they have no SLS).

Fictionlady · 04/06/2014 00:34

Becksondergaard scarves. They're good quality, stylish designs and make good breastfeeding cover-ups.

They are usually really cheap on ASOS - I just ordered 3 more at the weekend Smile

TroyMcClure · 04/06/2014 00:35

Ooh yes. Them. The wool ones

WildThong · 04/06/2014 17:28

Thanks whoknows Smile

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/06/2014 18:25

Re the Dr Organics stuff - has anybody found it helps for a dry/itchy/sore/maybe psoriasis-ish scalp?

rhubarbcrumbleplease · 04/06/2014 18:30

Babyliss Big Hair
REN glycolic peel
Clinique tube mascara (no more panda eyes after 30+ years)
Bobbi Brown colour corrector.

Thank you for the recommendations.

SaltyGoodness · 04/06/2014 19:04

Another vote for heel balm (any brand, as long as it has at least 25% Urea - i'm currently using Dermal) for Keratosis Pilaris on DH's upper arms. And my cracked lips. Miracle product. Thank you MN :)

HexBramble · 12/06/2014 06:55

Aussie Hair products.
Saved my dry and over-treated hair.

On S&B revommendation, I'm also trying Herbal Essence Bee Strong and I'm very pleased so far.

La Roche possay cleansing gel wash. For rid of my cluster spots on my lower face. Would be without it.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 12/06/2014 07:02

Remus-Loreal men's anti dandruff shampoo, black bottle with orange lid. It's the same formula as the discontinued blue bottle version everyone used to rave about. T gel is good tooSmile

JamInMyWellies · 17/07/2014 11:46

I love these threads!

Although I do end up a little poorer.

WitchWay · 17/07/2014 18:10

Rosehip oil for wrinkles
Epistick for moustache

Might try the coconut oil teeth thing

DodobirdVerdict · 17/07/2014 18:42

Lily Lolo mineral makeup.

DodobirdVerdict · 17/07/2014 18:43

Also LRP Effaclar, Eucerin and the Soap and Glory foot file.

DodobirdVerdict · 17/07/2014 18:45

And baby oil to remove waterproof mascara.

DodobirdVerdict · 17/07/2014 18:49

I used to be a fan of the H&M vests but the ones from Decathlon are even better.

Notonaschoolnight · 17/07/2014 19:08

Remus I had scalp psoriasis for 30+ years and went sulphate and silicone free 3 years ago and it's made a huge difference ie before getting ready for a night out would be so time consuming as I'd have to oil my scalp and get rid of the skin such a nightmare but so much better now .

Though I have noticed now that my scalp is totally intolerant to sulphate/silicone and itches like mad if I accidentally use them

PoppyAmex · 17/07/2014 19:25

Another vote for Lily Lolo mineral foundation.

Also coconut oil - I put it in the toddler's bath twice a month and it also cleared the 8 month old's cradle cap.

atticusclaw · 17/07/2014 19:33

My Parlux hairdryer

Coconut oil which I use for make up removal. A PP said it costs a bomb? It is £6 for the organic stuff in Tesco and it lasts about a year. Its very cheap.

I bought footer today due to MN and am excited to try it.
