Nightmare. A total waste of everyone's time and Zara's money paying for return postage due to the wrong size.

noddyholder · 27/05/2014 17:22

I have the beige love them. I bought 2 tops in h and m black fitted pink massive same tops

7IsALieIn · 27/05/2014 17:44

I think items are often labelled incorrectly. Notice it with H&m kids stuff.

CointreauVersial · 27/05/2014 17:51

I was trying on trousers in Mango the other day, and the Size 10 was hanging off me. I was thinking wow. Grin

I tried on an 8 and couldn't get them past my knees.

The 12 fitted perfectly. Hmm

Turned out the original pair was a Size 16 with a Size 10 label. The sewn-in label, not just the tag.

EduardoBarcelona · 27/05/2014 18:13

what size did you get nod?

Noticed this with Zara kids. Ordered for dd green fitted pink too small and blue too big!

noddyholder · 27/05/2014 18:55

medium and def not any smaller than my usual sizes also medium from zara Bet its the wrong label

AwkwardSquad · 27/05/2014 19:13

Had the same problem with a skirt from Cos. Same design, different colours, allegedly the same size but bloody well weren't.

WickedWitchoftheNorthWest · 27/05/2014 19:19

It's because they don't cut them individually but in a big stack, so the ones on top come out smaller than the ones on the bottom.

Cereal0ffender · 27/05/2014 19:32

I like those trews. I fancy the yellow

3littlefrogs · 27/05/2014 19:38

I had this happen to me.
A pack of 2 pairs of supposedly identical trousers. (Just different colours - 1 pair of grey, one black in each pack).
One of each pair fitted perfectly, the other was much smaller and awful quality material.
I had ordered 2 packs and asked if I could keep the perfect one out of each pack. No deal. I returned everything.
It was obviously just a way of selling off the poor quality ones. Angry

peachdaiquirionmytoes · 27/05/2014 19:59

Cheaper/chain stores cut pattern blocks from multiple layers of fabric. It is inevitable that the fabric moves slightly, causing differences in the cut. When you buy from more expensive brands they cut from fewer layers of fabric which gives more accurate sizing, though more costly.

ThisBitchIsResting · 27/05/2014 20:19

I have these! I was trying to link them on a 'perfect work trousers' or some such thread about a month ago.

I'm a 10 and bought them mainly because the S fit me perfectly which never normally happens in Zara. I refuse to believe I have a freak pair. I had an M in a different style and couldn't get them past my hips!

EduardoBarcelona · 27/05/2014 22:32

hollyisalovelyname · 27/05/2014 23:06

Ah... Zara.... You should have said in your title.
And you're surprised Grin

Cereal0ffender · 28/05/2014 08:08

It's like a vanity sizing lottery

Littlepinkpear · 28/05/2014 08:38

I left next with a size 6 top the other day. And a pair of 14 trousers.

It's size bingo sometimes. I am neither a 6 or a 14!

EduardoBarcelona · 28/05/2014 08:40

The beige. I'm worried they may look nekkid from afar

OP posts:
noddyholder · 28/05/2014 08:55
