I can report that Hereford h and m is the best I've been in. Really tidy.
But those shorts I've ordered - wow they look way too short!!!

I tried on some plain black trousers for work from M&S. The 14s were hanging off me - honestly I looked like one of those adverts where someone had lost half their body weight.

I could not fasten the 12s at all. How can there be so much difference between sizes?

Bought nothing, as usual Sad.

MissisBee · 30/05/2014 13:25

Similar happened me with m&s jeggings. Navy denim - perfect fit. Tan - a bit baggy. Maroon - tight squeeze. Is it anything to do with different coloured dyes affecting stretch/shrinkage of the fabric?

There might be Missisbee. I ordered bras from Figleaves in different colours in the same size, and only found out afterwards that I should have gone a cup size bigger in the black one because the dying process makes them smaller Hmm.

I never order anything from figleaves because they won't let you return anything if it has been opened. Confused

I bought nice work trousers in M&S two pairs black and grey, couple of months later tried to buy some more, same style, same colours, same sizes, couldn't get a single pair to fit properly and they were all too long.

I had neither lost weight nor height.

H & M really bad for this.

I was in Debenhams last week and tried on two dresses; a red patterned one and the other identical but in green. The green fitted like a glove, the red too tight on the bust. Frustratng because I really preferred the red colour.
