Can't find anything that I like anywhere.

Has anyone seen anything nice?

Oh, I am not a snob about second-hand anything, in fact, nothing I like better!

Will give that a try.

mazzy what did you think of the top shop one?

AvaLou · 29/08/2006 15:59

Ebay is fab, or ntc sales often have really good maternity wear. My friend got an isabella oliver dress for £2 at one in wimbledon recently.

cupcakes · 29/08/2006 15:59

oh, I probably won't bother then. Thanks, annie.

Bundle- Its a pretty print, but I really want something long-sleeved, more autumnal. Cheers though!

i bought a pair of formes trousers during my first pregnancy, they were £60 and worth every penny

accessorizequeen · 29/08/2006 21:02

this is my 2nd pg & wish I had bought decent stuff in my first. Wouldn't have cared if I was wearing same five things at the end if they were NICE! Had to throw out all the next stuff, dp's tops haven't washed well either & M&P trousers are revolting, I don't think I can bear to put them on again. Have bought a few v.nice things from local maternity boutiques (who stock Noppies & Cache-Cache for example) & I'm going back there as sale might still be on! Don't mind cheap tops or decent ones 2nd hand but well-fitting trousers are worth their weight. Do formes go up to 16?

jabberwocky · 29/08/2006 21:37

Do you have Mimi Maternity or Pea in the Pod in the UK? They have really nice things.

mazzystar · 29/08/2006 21:41

No we don't tragically. Last time when still working I bought a DvF maternity top from there - gorgeous, but they charged me so much in duties. and it now has a hole in the front (sob)

I noticed this months pregnancy and birth magazine has a free bump band with it, worth getting one to see if you like it!

peachygirl · 30/08/2006 17:04

I've got the bump band that came free with the mag its not he best quality but will certainly 'do' and I will wear it.
jabberwocky I've just bought some trousers in Pea in the Pod from the mimi brand ( in las vegas- oooh) and they are really nice (too big at the mo) it's only in the states though, while I was there I got quite a bit of stuff in Old Navy, again good qaulaity and prices but we don't have that here, but with the exchange rate I couldn't let it pass especially the trousers that have worked out at being £5.50 a pair!!
