I'm not really a converse kinda person and I usually wear skinny or straight cut jeans. Have having cold feet so ballet pumps etc are a no no until it's much warmer.

I'm still in my DM ankle boots or Sketchers hi tops

notapizzaeater · 29/04/2014 10:46

Flat black pumps or converse

TheTerribleBaroness · 29/04/2014 10:49

Flat black pumps here too. Or bronze ones.

High heels with a t-bar (not stilettos) if I want to look smarter and still be able to walk. Stilettos if walking is not required. :)

TheTerribleBaroness · 29/04/2014 10:51

Would a coloured plimsoll kind if thing be too much like a converse? I'll try to find a picture of what I mean.

TheTerribleBaroness · 29/04/2014 10:54

Okay, I thought converse always went up to your ankle. Turns out they don't. Ignore my plimsoll post. Grin

I'm clearly not a converse kind of gal either!

Apatite1 · 29/04/2014 11:25

Brogues

ShoeWhore · 29/04/2014 11:30

Still wearing ankle boots here or my converse.

My friend had loafers on yesterday - would they work for you? Looked quite summery (but like you'd still have warm feet Smile )

carrie74 · 29/04/2014 12:04

Wearing a mixture of ankle boots still, ballet shoes (no socks - it's not that cold!), skate shoes and low Converse.

carrie74 · 29/04/2014 12:04

Oh, and sometimes loafers for work as well.

itiswhatitiswhatitis · 29/04/2014 12:22

Loafers could work. I think part of the problem is my boots are all long ones, maybe it need some ankle ones too

Ankle boots or brogues but am a bit stuck too.

Still too cold for ballet shoes without socks IMO, although am thinking of trying heels without socks on Thursday - with 3/4 trousers. Am going out that night, but could freeze.

rollonthesummer · 29/04/2014 12:27

I've still got my knee length boots on!

OnlyLovers · 29/04/2014 12:29

I concur on ankle boots. I don't feel silly in them if the sun comes out the way I would in knee/calf boots. Maybe a paler colour like a mid-brown, or taupe, if you feel that black or dark browns look a bit wintry. My favourites are a reddish-brown.

Brogues?

I know you say you normally wear jeans, but if you do wear skirts or dresses or are amenable to doing so, I think now is a good time for tights and ballet flats (or any kind of flat, actually).

Francagoestohollywood · 29/04/2014 12:31

Converse, ballerinas, brogues.

DesperateHousewife21 · 29/04/2014 12:35

Tbh I think its still cold enough for uggs! so those/ brown riding boots/ pumps or toms if its slightly warmer.

MarshaBrady · 29/04/2014 12:37

Ballet flats when the sun shines and ankle boots when it's colder.

NormHonal · 29/04/2014 12:45

Ankle boots for wet days, loafers and Converse otherwise. I have had a couple of ballet-pump-no-sock days already and it was great, can't wait for drier weather.

CointreauVersial · 29/04/2014 13:13

I've only worn my boots twice in the last few weeks - it's ballet pumps or flip flops all the way for me.

bigTillyMint · 29/04/2014 13:16

Apart from Converse/Superga, I have been wearing loafers, brogues and ballet flats.

CV, it is way too cold for bare legs, never mind bare feet!

Ballet flats, loafers, NB trainers, leopard print skate shoes. My ankle boots haven't been worn for a few weeks and i'm enjoying some variation.

nochips · 29/04/2014 14:23

Converses. i have just discovered them (late to every party). I LOVE them.

itiswhatitiswhatitis · 29/04/2014 14:26

Right pair of ankle boots it shall be I think, like Onlylovers said maybe a lighter shade.

CV put your flip flops away right now!

Ankle boots occasionally, converse and ballet flats (but only when really sunny!)

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 29/04/2014 14:40

Ankle boots/brogues/converse. Haven't worn ballet flats or loafers yet this year.
