I'm not really a converse kinda person and I usually wear skinny or straight cut jeans. Have having cold feet so ballet pumps etc are a no no until it's much warmer.

Ankle boots and closed toe flats. Have just bought Varca sandals for the days the sun shines to wear with crops and bare legs. Can't wait to wear them!

Converse as I'm still in casual mode (mat leave). Flat ankle boots when it's nasty outside.

But I would also love to hear alternative options.

Ash Virgins.

Zip up pumps will change your life!

Hush Puppies tan moccasins. And I'm only 32 Shock

They're like wearing slippers outside so I don't care what they look like

You're all a bunch of wimps.

Clearly my hot flushes are useful for something, namely getting my legs out early Blush

cressetmama · 29/04/2014 16:33

Guilty as charged Cointreau! My hot flushes have just left my knees and
legs covered in unsightly thread veins.

I don't really get cold feet so have been wearing ballet flats, but with jumper / scarf / leather jacket as necessary on top. I have some fab neon pink Hawaiian print espadrilles from Pull and Bear I have been wearing intermittently too.

Just bought some Birkenstock-alikes from the Clarks factory shop in cobalt nubuck leather, they are amazing and I am planning a coral pedi so I can wear them immediately with my boyfriend jeans, I will have summery feet regardless of weather Smile

Haven't worn boots for a couple of months

I think that's the key - if you are getting your ankles out, keep the top half of your body covered so you are warm enough. Or vice versa.....Confused
