It's their Birthday weekend again but not all bags are included this year, like last year.

I've just ordered a satchel, it started at 6pm and I noticed stuff has already sold out from when I first looked.

I got carried away last year with the frenzy on here when the Zatchels sale was on and bought one...which I have used exactly once as the leather is so stiff and hard it makes the bag hopelessly unwieldy to use. Now contemplating ebaying it to be honest.

I could have written exactly that! My Zatchel sits unloved on a shelf. It does nothing for me. I need lovely, soft, tactile leather.

I have one already. It is stiff but it does soften a bit as you use it. If you dont use it, you will get good money for it on ebay. Thats where i bought mine!

I cancelled my order after waiting for 6 weeks. They also took payment when you placed the order which was a bit cheeky.

I do love soft tactile leather..i agree...it reminds me though of the goats leather bag debacle i had lol....It stank and stank. I had to put it outside for weeks!!! It was a satchel too but the smell took ages to fade!! Beautiful bag, has an aged look but a zip broke in it...hence the new bag.

They didn't post my bag - it still hadn't even been sent after 6 weeks so I cancelled! I had got bored of waiting and gone off it!

Yes, I also have 2 saddle bags, one big one small. I like the way they look but are nit good for practical use. The small one is ridiculously small - literally can fit a purse, phone, lipgloss and errrr, that's about it. I can bit a bit more in my large one, but it's too narrow and I kind of dread using it (I use it for work when I need something smart for meetings).

I do like the barrel bags I have - they are small, but I can fit more in than the saddle bag, plus they work well for nighttime. Quite tempted by a silver one, but cannot justify it at all.

I havent really thought about the saddle bags. I was tempted by a mini satchel but agree that the satchels are quite narrow. I am no use with a big bag though. Too much of an excuse to carry a lot of crap that i dont need. All i need space in it is for my phone, keys, purse and perhaps a small umbrella. I dont carry make up around with me...ever!

Pixie - if you need a bag to fit a (small) umbrella in, you should be able to do that with a large saddle bag, but definitely not a small one (or a barrel bag).

I love my red saddlebag that I nabbed in last year' sale (what a palaver that was), but it doesn't hold very much.

My Zatchel bag is languishing on top the the wardrobe tooHmm

The leather is far too hard and unwieldy, it actually bruised my leg when I plonked the bag on my lap a bit heavily! I really don't like it it all, wanted to but I don't.....

I use my zatchel bag daily and it does soften. I was thinking about all the comments about it being stiff to use when i was shopping today. With use it does actually soften.

I have ordered a green elephant one for me and a red polka dot one for DD1 (birthday coming up). I wondered about the orange leopard print one, but tbh, I wouldn't have considered it if it wasn't the cheapest thing in the sale. Although I have managed to convince myself that I would love it...

I have two Zatchels, a red and a dark brown one. They do get a lot softer when used often. They probably not good if you like to carry lots of stuff though.

God, this was such a debacle last year! We ended up with a support group. My bag took 100 years to be delivered and when it was it was to the wrong name. Lots of mistakes with orders reported on the thread. And they took money immediately. Humph.

Personally I wouldn't buy again as the satchel looks really big but you can get naff all in it. Though it does get admiring comments.

I love my satchel and its just right for me. I got my from ebay and it was new. It is a bit stiff when you first use it but it really does soften and the leather becomes far less rigid. I dont like carrying a lot of stuff especially to work..just the main things. I really hope its not like last year and lessons have been learnt. I popped on to see if there was any progress on my order and its now gone from processing to being printed..whatever that means. Had a google and it says its being picked from the warehouse. I wont hold my breath though!!!
