I know lots of people who buy them but they look identical to the flip flops I buy very summer for a tenner in Accessorise. What makes them different?

Comfort! They know how to make that little bit that goes between your toes so comfy.Every other brand I've ever had made my feet sore.Plus they come in so many lovely colours.

BankWadger · 07/04/2014 19:45

Nice colours and patterns in larger sizes AND they don't fall apart in 5 minutes. Also they don't cost the earth (before falling apart after 5 minutes).

bishboschone · 07/04/2014 20:42

The sole is softer and they are comfy. They are only £17 so not much more .

MrsCocoa · 07/04/2014 21:55

Comfy toe-posts and durability.

annebullin · 07/04/2014 21:56

Comfort.
I need a new pair though, so if anyone knows of any bargains please post. Smile

Legologgo · 07/04/2014 21:57

Dunno. I got some white that only lasted 18m. Black ones the toe post keeps going.

I adore. Use as skippers.

Legologgo · 07/04/2014 21:58

Accessorise. There's a shop that needs a make over

I bought my mum a pair 5 years ago and she still wears them and they look hardly worn and she wears them A LOT. she said they're the most comfiest flip flops she's ever owned.

Hopefully · 07/04/2014 22:02

The sole doesn't flatten down too quickly, so they stay comfy for longer. I wore mine loads last summer (and I am really really hard on my shoes) and I will actually get use from them this summer - I always assume flip flops will only last one summer. Plus if you search around you can quite often find them on sale for

nilbyname · 07/04/2014 22:07

As above.

everythingsgoingsouth · 07/04/2014 22:09

less than £10 in tkmaxx...

whereisshe · 07/04/2014 22:17

It's the lovely squishy rubber. It's just so comfy.

drspouse · 07/04/2014 22:25

They are so much more comfy on the toes than other flip flops. I can usually find them on ebay for a bit cheaper too.

peasandlove · 07/04/2014 22:29

I think the quality on them has gone. i bought 2 pairs in Brazil many years ago and one i wore to death they got quite thin on the bottom after a good 5 years. my replacement pair only lasted a season and dps two pairs also didnt last one summer each.

WhatamessIgotinto · 07/04/2014 23:27

What's the sizing like do they come up big/small?

peasandlove · 07/04/2014 23:39

Just get your normal size

singaporeswing · 08/04/2014 05:08

I find Gandy's flip flops a lot more comfortable, better value and they donate towards a great cause.

I live in mine.

KosherBacon · 08/04/2014 08:57

I've got pairs that have been going for four years. They're fab and well worth the extra money

lazypepper · 08/04/2014 09:01

I have a couple of pairs. They do last longer than cheapo flip flops.

bishboschone · 08/04/2014 09:02

I tried to buy gandys last year but theys sold out . Are they as good?

rainbowfeet · 08/04/2014 09:15

Havainas are fab so comfy, I've never heard of Gandy's about to google it hope it's not a wind up! Shock

wetnoodle · 08/04/2014 09:29

Best flip-flops without a doubt are by a US brand called Rainbow. They are made of leather and have arch support. They mould to your feet as you wear them/break them in. They don't make that hideous "flip flop" sound either. Popular with surfer/hippie types in Hawaii and California.

I've had mine for years and they are still in excellent condition.

TinyDiamond · 08/04/2014 09:52

They don't rub. They last for years.

singaporeswing · 08/04/2014 09:57

Gandy's are definitely worth it - I was a sworn Havianas girl until I tried Gandy's and I barely take mine off.

The website has been updated since last year and they seem to have a more regular supply of stock. I think that they are still doing the buy 2 get one free promotion.
