Are Michael kors bags a bit tacky?

I've been thinking of getting myself one as I really like the shape of the totes, but I know the watches are beloved of teenage girls and I just wanted to check whether the handbags are viewed as a bit off or not.

Tacky isn't really the word I want but I can't think what it is!

I just bought a medium selma messenger in a neutral colour, and that isn't tacky at all.

The very blingy ones are too shiny etc for me, the jet set ones NaP show are fine.

I don't do a regular commute so I don't see them around at all.

too late now, but I have this Michael kors and its lovely, im not normally a fan of lots of gold hardware but this is fine. is a perfect size for all my day to day junk. I have the kate spade minka in a grey as well, that's a good ize if im on my own for a short day, just needing my purse keys, phone etc, but not if I need to carry a lot. even though my dc are older now (youngest is 4) I still carry juice cartons or water bottles and wipes and tissues if out and about with them. usually a couple of bananas or apples as well. the joys of being a parent.

The big MK medallion is removable.
Then the bag looks classy , though they are ubiquitous.
I've always wanted to use that word but never had an opportunity before.

My MIL has two MK bags so they are out for me.

Michael Kors bags are great for any age! There are the high-end bags which are just Michael Kors and the more affordable bags which are MICHAEL Michael Kors. However, I find women wear them at any age just like any designer brand. I did find a great site called www.luxurybuddy.com that sells MK bags at lower prices than other places and it's 100% authentic. I say check it out and then you don't feel as bad when you buy a bag that's cheaper than the retail prices.
