Emergency - Coast Mandy dress , size 18

My friends wants this to be her wedding dress but despite the website showing it as in stock in size 18, Coast say they don't have any :(. She is distraught, to say the least and nowhere else has it in stock online either. Can anyone think of a way I can get this for her? I'm thinking I will need to phone the stores tomorrow to see if they have one I can go and buy. Aaargh! TIA.

I have emailed Coast as well. Ideas of anything else I can do welcome!

That's lovely. I needed a bridesmaid dress for my sister to try (didn't like it in the end & returned it) & they hunted it down via head office computer to a specific store at the other end of the country. I then phoned them, payed over the phone & they posted it out. Try that? Or pop into your local store & beg to see if they can find it?
It's not old stock is it? I know MacArthur glen outlet village at York have got coast, might also be worth a call? What about coast concessions in big department stores, would there stock show up to head office in the same way?
Also keep trying online, someone might return one so it comes back into stock. Would it be worth trying a 16 in case the sizing is generous? Even if it didn't fit you'd get an idea of how the style would look in case it's not as nice on. Good luck in your quest.

Asos do some coast. Anywhere else like that, catalogue company's etc that stock it?

Thanks isisisis, I am hoping that Coast head office will be as helpful as they were for you, though it is annoying that they don't take phone calls at all. I'd rather not have to phone every store in the country! She has tried on the 16 and loved it but it was a bit tight :(.

Could she have the 16 altered, might be tricky but could be worth trying?

John Lewis and HoF sell Coast too.

Are there any stores open now? I'm think Trafford centre, meadow hall, Westfield? Doesn't matter if they're near you but they might be able to access stock in other stores & tell you where's got it?

I have just attempted to purchase the size 18 using your link, and it is letting me go as far as logging in, not saying it's out of stock. (Obviously I'm not trying to buy it just checking for you)

It is available online in the Irish coast website, I was able to take the order to check out, If you are stuck maybe I could get it for you and post over to you

ShellyF, you can add it to your bag and even pay for it and get the confirmation email but it won't be long before you get another email saying they are out of stock and haven't charged you :(.

isisisis the wedding is in August but if this is such a popular dress, we need to secure it asap before they're all gone!
