They were gross, but i thought I was the dogs bollocks in 'em.

expatinscotland · 06/08/2006 20:58

they were vile.

they look good on 6ft. tall, stringy models and no one else.

popsycal · 06/08/2006 20:59

oooh i reallyt wanted a string vest!!!

has a sweater dress .....it had short sleeeves and a tie thingy at hip level

cant get your link to work...

NomDePlume · 06/08/2006 20:59

A bright purple one with orange and forest green zig-zag embroidery on the collar and cuffs still haunts me

popsycal · 06/08/2006 21:00

i desperately wanted a 'frankie says relax' t shirt.......
but was not allowed one

NomDePlume · 06/08/2006 21:00

... and to think I took the piss out of WelshBoris for her Deirdre Barlow specs

expatinscotland · 06/08/2006 21:01

i finally bought a string vest w/some allowance money.

but it snagged on everything and i soon gave it away.

popsycal · 06/08/2006 21:03

Well for all of you who are missing C&A just pop over to Budapest - we still have C&A here! And Clockhouse!

And yes - I remember sweater dresses - was a size 8-10 then. And I had a few cool jump-suits too!

MrsSpoon · 06/08/2006 21:05

I can't get the link to work either.

I didn't have a jersey dress or a string vest but remember wanting both. I did however have a lemon jumpsuit and a red velour one.

popsycal · 06/08/2006 21:06

my sister had a jumpsuit and i really wanted one

ocd · 06/08/2006 21:07

here you are

OP posts:
popsycal · 06/08/2006 21:07

can anyone remember and this is a bit after jumpsuits and sweater dresses....) those jumpers that you turned up the sleeves and the inside of the sleevs matched the picture on your jumper?

expatinscotland · 06/08/2006 21:09

it's viscose.

yuk.

i don't do viscose anymore.

MrsSpoon · 06/08/2006 21:09

Yeah, it works this time. I actually quite like it, looks promising in the photo.

MrsSpoon · 06/08/2006 21:10

Ah, didn't notice it was viscose, a bit sweaty betty.

ocd · 06/08/2006 21:13

yes but idea ok

JackieNo · 06/08/2006 21:13

Why doesn't the M&S website show you the whole dress, though? There's no indication of how long it is, what shape.
I had a cream sweater dress that I bought in Germany on my year abroad - I wore it with a huge asymmetrical belt. Don't think I'll be wearing them this time round, sadly.

FrannyandZooey · 06/08/2006 21:15

Oh yes clockhouse of course

Remember Etam? And baggy trousers with a big turn up? And braces LOL

expatinscotland · 06/08/2006 21:16

oh god! i once fell for a young man b/c he was wearing braces!

luckily, he also had a 9-inch knob.

popsycal · 06/08/2006 21:16
